@Chenoholic88 A LOT of CBS affiliates used this font (which BTW is called Serifa), largely because it was also used by CBS News in the mid-80's. In fact, the O&O's were required to use the font. After CBS News switched to the Futura font in late-1987, many affiliates eventually switched as well, though not as many as those who used Serifa.
I noticed the late channel 10 reporter Mike Makela who passed away in the mid '90s in this newscast video.
