God made it clear, 1 man and 1 women for life and homosexuality is a sin, this church condemned itself!. i'm not homophobic, im just saying what the bible says , this is not a church of God.

What a wonderful moment in this video when you see that 66.67% of the vote was in favour of this motion. This is a solid demonstration that not all Christians are bigots and homophobes. So many are good, decent, kind people who believe in the Gospel of Jesus and in spreading God's love. Bravo to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America!

I agree waylifetruth. God hates sin because he sees how much it hurts us. That is why his word is crystal clear on what to stay away from, homosexuality, fornication, lust, perversion, divorce, adultery. This church which I am currently rostered in has chosen the path of neutering the authority of scripture to be in the control of the individual. Not only is it humanistic, post-modernistic, but down right wicked. Next the liturgy is going to be blessing this sinful way of life.

Its not loving to NOT tell someone they are in Sin and not in Christ! God Loves the Sinner but HATES the SIN! Where is Love when you do what God hates? Where is righteousness and uprightness? If a car was about to run you over, would you prefer that I, out of love, didn't tell you because i might risk hurting your feelings? Homosexuality is indefensible! My prayers and God's love with each of you no matter your sexual preference but, at the same time I must quote God's true word as stated in the Holy Bible~ "The spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. you're right! - a real mess in the US RCC. But, Rome did step in and has changed US seminary life dramatically. Our best hope may be the charismatic and evangelizing mvts in all churches -e g. The Alpha Course. The Gospel has not changed - we simply find new ways to disobey. Try reading Dominus Jesus by JP 2. Not as ecumenical as some would like, but clearly a Gospel that Luther would agree with!

my comments are never meant to be a shot at the RCC church.. but perhaps a tad bit defensive.. the RCC church has a great deal of wonderful people in it.. I know this for a fact. One of my favorite people of modern history is Pope John XXIII.. truly a holy man.. if he was Pope and not Leo X 500 years ago, there would not have been a reformation.. and Luther wasn't perfect either.. but I dig him.
