Exo-Squad was not anime... It was... "anime-esque". But NOT anime. It was unique and apparently ahead of it's time in story and structure of character and messages of the fulity and terrible necessity of war...

This wasn't anime! It was an AMERICAN cartoon made to compete with anime. The story line was epic and encompassed themes important to americans like race relations and ethics of war.
