  • I don't get it... when does he get naked? ಠ_ಠ

  • "Does anybody hear?" Well yes if someone's there, but if no-one's there then no they won't hear

  • @WWEfireworkfan oh my god i only just found out that it was about the environment & i kind of regret that comment now, all for the environment, people should be less selfish & have more respect for our world

  • Wouldn't that be protest against deforestation and damaging the Earth then rockiocerp?

  • This is not a protest song, this is about our lives on this planet and the arrogant we're about all other species (trees and animals)that we take for granted. This is an spiritual song about us and our relationship with this planet, our mother, mother EARTH!.

  • ya, but u have to agree that bombing the moon to c if there's water is a good idea.

  • Bombing the moon for water?,the earth has plenty of it and look what the economist had done, they tell us water resources are an "externality" in other words, water does not create any wealth unless managed by men to create money. The same thing they do with forests, a tree worth nothing if it's not cut down to create "weallth, money".If this way of thinking continues, soon we'll regret it.

  • ya man im kidding, nasa just bombed the moon to c if there was water lol. that is the biggest dissapointment to mankind. "let's find out if there is water on the moon so we can keep going about our consumer ways here on earth". i cant believe that im not walking on garbage everywhere I go. where is all this garbage going? seriously.

  • i like the guitarr ... so nice

  • help i really want this song

  • One of his cleverest hooks (besides "Justice".) And the lyrics:

"Through thinning ozone, waves fall on wrinkled earth,

Gravity, light, ancient refuse of stars, speak of a drowning.

But this, this is something other.

Busy monster eats dark holes in the spirit world

Where wild things have to go to disappear

    Forever"

    I love this guy.

  • There has never been the use of repetition in music until this moment...DUH! If a tree falls on your head would anybody care? Just kidding! HA!

  • Where was this recorded?

  • Bruce Cockburn is one of the most underrated songwriters around. Not only that, but he is an amazing guitar player.

  • I love the song. It's a bummer that the video & soundtrack are out of sync. :-(

  • Repeating can be good or bad, depending. I think it makes it ok for this song because it's a protest song.

  • HEH HEH HEH. This vid was posted by one of my best friends and an ULTIMATE Bruce C fan. He has actually MET the man and made him laugh a time or two. chauncygard will tell you all about it. PEACE AND LIGHT and LONG LIVE COCKBURN!

  • i like it, but please stop repeating yourself, bruce.

  • stop repeating yourself? do you know who Bruce Cockburn is? its the message he is trying to send.

  • yes i know who he is. sorry
