Many years ago i saw 'Ambrosia' open for heart . They had so many hits and good songs in their time and Ambrosia sang hit after hit . Sounded great. Then Heart came on and it was like another level. The band was so powerful live and Ann's voice is unbelievably powerful .

I'm not quite shure what you mean but I bet your stuck in the 70's. This is from the 80's and if you haven't been following they have had many different artist play with Ann & Nancy.

The guitarist you mentioned is Roger who played on DreamBoat Annie, and he left due to his relationship with Nancy Wilson ended when Nancy started to date the drummer. Soon both were replaced.

I think you are not seeing the whole picture. Surely worse problems, and yet the band(meaning its members playing together) survived. And still with the alignment that became famous. You might want to check the story behind heart and how they retrieved their boyfriends band, after they were invited into it.

Obviously the girls have talent and the group surely was happy to follow. But from the guys point of view is the classic don't mix work and private life together. Anyways we should thank them for inviting the girls and thus ending up creating this band.

Yeah I agree, just because a band wasn't widely known, doesn't mean their music sucked. I have explored the music of many one hit wonders, along with no hit wonders, and there is SO much amazing music that never saw the light of day.

I could be VERY wrong about this, but I believe it was a concert done in South America (DR maybe?). It was Heart and Santana and I've also heard Sinatra and Buddy Rich. Pretty sure it was a benefit.
