omg i have 2 degus and not being funny but the cage u have yours in looks to small .. mine is three storeys high and they love the space .. mine are called IFFY and SCATTY lol. unfortunatly IFFY had a mis-carriage and lost 6 only a few days ago
you don't need to seperate the degu's when SHE is pregnant or has babies. male degu also cares for them. When my degu had babies my other,male degu sammy slept with her and also was cleaning the babies .. aww so cute btw
my degus never did that in till my degu got pregnant i sperated them in diffrent cages so the babies and the mother will be safe i cant wait till she has them the babies are so cute :)
wow they lok like a cross between a gerbil and a chinchilla. I was told at the pet store that unless i had a massive natural environment for them, I shudn't buy them.
