For my quote on my senior pic in my yearbook, I wrote "The problem with success is you can become what you detest." Thought their music was so cool, but in the U.S. this album didn't really get much play after the first single. They weren't ready to move on from "Right Here, Right Now". Still playing that song to this day.
not sure about sexy, but agree JJ should reform the time is right for thier brand of music again. in my opinion it was never out of date. we want more.
OMG, Mike is absolutely adorable in this video. What a doll! And he's STILL a doll. Yup, we're all getting older and with age comes change but, HE'S STILL A DOLL!!!!! He really knew how to play up to the camera and it amazes me to this day that JJ never achieved the fame that they so richly deserved. Were they ahead of their time???
Mike Edwards ......Officially ""Hottest man of the 90's!!! :-P ..... He just Ft in a project called Sion Orgon with Coil and Julian Cope. Is He a Personal trainer Now? He seems really happy and chill out in the lastets interview on 2010.
JJ were the best group of their day and they are missed! I miss the guys. Was obsessed back in the day. Fantastic tunes from vastly underrated group!!! Come back, JJ!!!!!
This song was played alot on LIVE 105 (San Francisco), back in the Spring of 1993...MTV played this video alot, too...Back when MTV PLAYED music videos.
I saw JJ at the House of Blues a few years back. 2ft from the stage - one of the best concerts I've been too. I wouldn't be surprised to see a come back album in the next couple of years with rave reviews. Edwards' vocals are amazing.
Bueno, pues soy de Mexico, y esta es mi cancion favorita, realmente es inspiradora, lastima que no se le haya dado tanta difusion aqui como yo hubiera querido. Gracias.
It's great to see so many people having such good things to say about this band, as I fully agree they should get much more credit and respect in the music world. Perverse is/was such an amazingly great CD. All the releases through "Already" are great, but Perverse seems to be my fave. The band just plain rules!
This was always my favourite of the Jesus Jones singles. Only got to #36 in the UK charts but should have done so much better. It's a shame it's not one of the band's favourites as they never play it live. Perfect techno-pop imho!

@FlyingFoxOz they were ahead of their time then and the world wasn't that ready for them I guess. Sadly.
And yes, Mike Edwards is quite an attractive man short or long hair, although I fancy him more on their "The Devil You Know" video.

That being said, Mr. Edwards does look awful nice in this video.
