@szymusiek1980 no el tema es que el maestro halford no se escucha en el escenario el mismo por eso jajaj suenan muy fuertes las violas te lo puedo decir por experiencia en ferro jajaaj
@TOSportsFan1990 I think the age is not the point. He is a talented singer and if he wanted to sing this song exactly like in the original, he would do it. Listen to the original album vocal and tell me, is it so hard to simulate that normal singing? Now he just wants to change the old song's vocal and add some new style of singing. I think the present singing is harder to emulate. And also I don't like it
@szymusiek1980 News flash, Halford's 30 years older AND is a smoker (off and on, like Geoff Tate). This makes your voice deep and crunchy and so does age. He simply cannot sing soft and mellow like he used to. He's either chest-voice and insanely operatic nowadays with a deep register, or he screams in a falsetto like King Diamond. Frankly he's an entirely different singer now, because he had to re-learn how to sing over the 2000's.
@DoYouWorry so Rob is operatic nowadays and he is a different singer cuz he had to change his singing over the 2000's. That's all I've said earlier - he simply wants to change the old song's vocal, he wants to diversify and vary the style of vocal from old tracks. I think the age and smoking has nothing to do with it, cuz now he can sing some other songs with accurate imitation, he doesn't change it unlike to eg. Steeler.
Yeah this was the forth time I've seen them. I saw Point of Entry, Screaming for Vengance, Defenders all back in Detroit and then this latest show at the Gibson. Seems like every time I see them I say "that was the best show ever!!" haha, but it's true, they just seem to get better with age!
why the hell his singing is so creepy now? :( Why it's not as human as in 1980? Zero similiarity with the album song singing
