Donatello has always caught my attention in both series, until I started to watch this 2003 series, that I start to love Mchelangelo too. He's not only the "party dude" or the Cowabunga guy. He's also a kind, loving and caring brother/friend. He can be serious when is necessary without shedding his pure and childish personality. Leo is the leader, Raph is always ready to fight, but Mikey is the soul of the group. Great tribute to him in this video!!

I love the 2003 cartoon most of all because of how the characters are portrayed. As Zephyrnix pointed out, we can see better than in any other version how much more there is to Mikey's personality than just his sense of humor. We have a good glimpse of his more serious side, his amazing natural skills, his surprising insight into other peoples' emotions, etc. Because the kid IS very smart and important to the team, and I'm glad he has a chance to show it.

Yes! One of my goals is to do a Mike/Leo brotherly video. However I have yet to find a suitable song. I really do enjoy the relationship that these two share, simply because each brings out the more hidden facets of the others personality.

Wow! great video! I love all the turtles, but since I was 2 years old, mikey has held a special place... and not because he's a goofball (though I love him for that too!) EEP! Mikey's serious side is what makes his character, but like any good slacker he holds back until he has to act. It's probably one of the reasons I love him so much. It took me a while to find a good song for Mikey that embraces him completely as a character too - so thanks for the compliment there.

Faved? You honour me! As soon as I get another good 'Mikey' song I'll do a follow up, since I found other snippets of footage that needs to be used.
