  • fuC___dAt_____

  • sweet memories

  • Black disco in perfection

  • And what about the Nytro Express? Same song, but you had to get on the Nytro Express instead of the Boogie Express.

    Whitfield = Genius

  • seriously brilliant 80's moment

  • rose royce r r exspress... classic..

  • The ONLY place I ever heard this played was at The Catacombs in Philly, where David Todd (Philly's High Priest of Dance) used to WORK this song, he had that that dance floor CUTTING UP to this, and believe me, there were some serious dancers at that club. FABULOUS record, thank you for posting. Oh, for just one last Friday night in 1981 at that club...

  • this is 30 years old and its still good!

  • my 21st birthday !

  • Intro to all sounds of late 20th and beginning of 21st century. Norman Whitfield was a truly genius. Not only big but the strongest respect to one and only.

  • Nice, but the record is 12 minutes!

  • @JustLocal Yep, youre right! i got the 12" on Vinyl and its 11:58!

Mabe this 9:55 version here is the short version :D

  • It's funky, but this type of sound was out in the crossover-concious early 80s.

  • I could hear this a million times ! And I would still dance too it ;)

  • More funk is not possible!

  • Norman is my No 1 producer. I have almost 30 LP or 12" with his signature as a producer, arranger, remix engineer

  • mm,memorylane ,i amgetting old

  • Best dance song. Period

And how can you dislike this?

  • Still love playing this out... those delibertaely off-key train bells, that driving bassline, hissing hi-hats and that classic Disco 'whoo's' - tears the roof off everytime. Just watch the giant smiles populate on the dancefloor

  • The drive in this record is amazing

  • Watch also the original song from Nytro - Nytro Express.

Great song, great musicians! Thanks Trey

  • Damn...I will always remember those recording sessions!

  • Are you The "Trey Stone"?

  • ...yes I'm Trey Stone - guitarist

  • O jeah, this song brings back many good memories!

  • Norman Whitfield ... R.I.P :,-]
