He can probably relate....it came out during Idol that he occasionally has high blood pressure and once (while on Idol) it was too high and they took him to the hospital....he obviously was fine and didn't miss any performances. Heart + talent = David Cook!!

David wouldn't be liable to getting sued unless there was grevious injury caused by disregard for security or something HE, his band or staff did. Poor Eve just fainted because of the body heat from the crowd. David acted because of concern for Eve, not for being sued. Jeez.
David doesn' t want to get sued....if anyone gets injured at his shows. He is doing what most artist do.. As for his music, he should release this song. It's better than the other two he is releasing now.

Thanks, Penjen; this video is my most prized "possession" right now. My blood pressure seems to plummet when I get really overheated; that's what caused me to faint. I have absolutely no recollection of this, so having this video is like regaining 4 missing minutes. I was overwhelmed when I saw his response. When I met him at the buses later, he sought me out and hugged me, saying "Don't do that again. I was very worried about you." I am still floored. What an incredible man!

Do we know why the girl fainted? It could have been because of being in an environment with lots of people close by and she got dizzy, etc., or was it because of Da vid? I think fainting did happen in the past with certain very charismatic singers like Frank Sinatra!!

And after making sure Eve was ok, to then get the audience back into it with clapping, and having Neal do the little tunes he demanded, helped distract everyone and then he could finish the song. He is just awesome!
