  • you may laugh but this REALLY happens in dumbtown america

  • Sledge Hammer!

  • This is comedy at its highest point. The timing and exchange between these two fanatastic actors is perfect...

  • COMBUSTIBLE LEMONS!!

  • Intruder, stopp...

  • this was the only funny part because it basically admitted to how terrible the entire movie was. and ill admit, i burst out laughing once he said "i guess we learned not to do it again"

  • @slack3r9

I burst out laughing at part right after.

"I'm fucked if I know WHAT we did."

  • David Rasche was just perfect for that role!

  • Such a brilliant movie. Completely unique.

  • my god, this is like 120p !

  • OMFG yes... yes. "The Funniest Scene from"... No, no, my freind, the funniest scene EVER... ANY TIME... EVER...

  • Aw that poor guy getting axed to death. Savage way to die.

  • the awkward when both top comments are the same exact thing 0.0

  • I guess we learned not to do it again...I'm fucked if I know what we did.

  • Funniest movie ever.

  • ...we have no extradition with Venezuela--- so what should we do with him? ---...for fucks sake put him on the next flight to Venezuela...

  • I love J.K. Simmons reaction to learning that the analyst isn't dead.

  • Jesus what a top comment

  • Man, I would have given the Coens and these actors Oscars for that scene alone!

  • That akward moment when the top 2 comments ARE THE SAME FUCKING COMMENTS!

  • We have her? To do what with? LOL!!!!

  • I love how this movie shows that there are dumb asses in every facet of life...even in top positions

  • "there were several procedures..." "Pay it!" I love that sequence. ;)

  • Apparently capitalizing Jesus gets morel likes than using a comma.

  • @macbeasty capital jesus is more important than use of commas

  • What Did We Learn Today? I Guess We Learned Not To Do It Again. Lol

  • Haha, that's the sheriff that said 'I DON'T LIKE YOUR JERK OFF NAME, I DON'T LIKE OF YOUR JERK OFF FACE AND I DON'T LIKE YOU, JERK OFF' in The Big Lebowski.

  • @Amino2

Afraid not. The two men in this scene are J.K. Simmons and David Rasche. Leon Russom played the Malibu police chief in The Big Lebowski.

  • J K Simmons should be in every movie.

  • @monkeysoulpoet Just kills me to see him in commercials.

  • @Watchessailormoon at least he's not john c. mcginley

  • Hey Cave Johnson!

  • I love this movie. It's a true story you know. Your,my-our tax dollars at work while the schools dummy down our youth.

  • "If he wakes up we'll worry about it then"

that pretty much describes the way things are ran in America!

  • "jesus, what a clusterfuck" that says it all

  • The only thing I didn't like with this film is that Linda gets her operations paid for. I don't think she deserved it. Other than that everything about this movie is fucking gold.

  • He shot the analyst. He shot Cox.

    Good ! GREAT ! .... Is he dead ??

  • " i dont fucking know either." yes! hahahahah

  • -For fuck sake, get him on the next flight to Venezuela!

    -Jesus, what a clusterfuck!

  • Just for fun, I actually memorized this entire scene at one point- word for word- and was constantly reciting it any chance I got... especially in the car. That had to look absolutely insane to the drivers next to me at the stoplights.

  • @MonkyMonk729 i recite lines from fargo at stoplights. i know how you feel.

  • Wow, greatest spoiler ever

  • Absolutely brilliant film. None of my friends "got" it but I adore it!

  • Hilarious that senior field agent doesn't know extradition policy with Venezuala.

  • this movie is a FUCKKIN classic !!!!! incredible performances

  • SLEDGEHAMMER

  • I wonder if JK Simmons was meant to be the Head of the CIA or just someone lower down the chain?

  • "we have no extradition with venezuela"

"oooh....so what should we do with him?"

"well for fuck sake put him on the next flight to venezuela"

    haha

  • there were several procedures

    pay it

    yes sir

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @lilandy190 arguably the best part of the film imo. lol

  • lol this movie was weird but funny. is this part supposed to be like a satire of government officials and how they shud handle plans or something. best part hands down

  • Where is she?

We picked her up. We have her.

We have her? To do...what with?

  • What did we learn, Palmer?

    I dunno know sir.

    I don't fucking know either.

  • This is almost a documentary for the random nuttiness that happens.I can see all this happening EASILY.

  • so many "fuck" in this movie lol.

  • "I'm not here representing Hardbodies..."

  • jesus, what a clusterfuck

  • 3 people are complete morons

  • this is awesome! - pay it!

  • You... don't know? We have no extradition with Venezuela. Oh. LOL

  • pay it!

  • this truly is the greatest scene of the film. "how much?" "there were several procedures." "pay it.". lmfao

  • "For fuck's sake, put him on the next flight to Venezuela"

    LMFAO

  • Hah I love when he's like: "We have her?...To do what with?"

  • Jesus what a clusterfuck.

  • "What did we learn, Palmer?"

    "I don't know sir..."

  • morons are in charge

  • LOL i love how osbourne isnt dead but in a coma wich hell proly die from

ders like no practical reason he shuld be in one, but ders like no pracitcal reason he shuldnt be in one

  • Jesus, what a CLUSTERFUCK! lol!

  • Same scene in much better quality on my channel

    watch?v=VEHwFDH--og

  • I laughed so hard about Linda Litzki getting her cosmetic surgery. That just candy coats the giant pile of stupid. :D

  • What makes this scene to gutbusting hilarious is that one can picture it actually happening.

  • so similar to homer simpson, the CIA boss, isn't he?also in matter of dialogs

  • @marcorutili: Honestly, I see the JK Simmons character as much brighter than Homer Simpson. His character is trying to clean up what could be a scandalous mess, whereas a Homer Simpson character would make the scandalous mess.

  • @NickB1967 What the scene so bitingly and subtly points out is that every strata of society has become foppish and stupid, ironically even the intelligence community. And it's become accepted. The scene is directed in such a way to suggest that these two guys approach there whole careers in just this way. That is to say they show up to work every day and proceed to cut corners because they're to intellectually lazy or just plain too stupid to do any real brain work... J&E are geniuses.

  • @Rush555555 It adds to things when you realise J.K Simmons' character (the only sane one) doesn't even have a name.

  • @Rush555555: I think that is the nature of government or any other bureaucratic organization.

  • so similar to homer simpson.. isn't he,the boss?and also for the dialogs...

  • I love his reaction when the other guy says he's in a coma!

  • great actors, really, great script

  • fuckin shitty quality

  • I completely lost control and burst into a fit of laughter when he said Clooney's character was trying to board a flight to Venezuela.

Fuck sake, put him on the next flight Venezuela!

  • How on earth did Sledge end up with the CIA?

  • The funniest part was when Malkovich bashed that guy's head in with an ax

  • that was a fucking weirdass movie

  • @WKaliberr not familiar with the Coen, ey? They're beast.

  • - you're part of a LEAGUE of morons

    - no, no...

    hahahaha

  • perfectly cast by very adept actors---how much--several procedures---what did we learn? we learned not to do it again---lol

  • Half way through the movie I think 'this is a Coen movie, it can only be'. This clip is indeed the funniest moment among many. Hilarious, witty, quirky, nutty, genius.'

Bravo. And I ain't a relative. Damn. p.s., what is a cluster fuck?

  • JESUS FUCKIN CHRIIIIIIIIST! hahahahahahahaha

  • And thats how you get your surgery paid ^^

  • This was fucking genius!

  • this movie is a masterpiece that has anyone coming to that conlclusion ONLY after multiple play throughs. Im so happy to have this movie in my film collection.

  • I like it so much. The last few sentences..this is how the whole system works :)

  • Screw George Clooney and Brad Pitt. They're hacks compared to Malkovich and JK Simmons.

  • @ponyboy314 lulz no

  • Ill be fucked if i know what we did.... lol

  • I don't know, you can tell the actors had fun making this movie. When you think about that, it makes the movie more fun.

  • League of Morons INDEED! lol. Scary to think that REAL CIA is like this, eh? No one knows anything, no one wants to know anything.

  • "she says she'll play ball if we uh, pay for - i know this sounds odd, some surgeries that she wants. cosmetic surgery. she say's she'll sit on everything..."

    "how much?"

    "there were several procedures--"

    "pay it!"

hahahahaha. i love the coens. she got her damn surgery in the end i guess that's all that matters!! hahahaha

  • But, there was a....humm....snag! LMAO!

  • I pissed my pants as well; and I agree with Buster 25, this scene should be used in acting classes; J.K. Simmons is to die for!! The way he uses all the features of his face, man, he doesn't need to talk much, we SO understand how the character feels, notice how he closes his eyes in deception when he learns that Cox isn't dead, it's hilarious!

  • When I saw this movie I was with my dad and there were a whole bunch of old people like in their 70's watching it.

    It was funny

  • 'he, he shot cox'

    'good'

  • we've been over, and over, and over this, first you say you can't commit, and then... would you come down from there?

  • I was confused the first time I watched the movie because there were so many things happening and none of it made sense, but on the second viewing I realized it was nothing more than a giant clusterfuck of "why?'s" and "huh's?". Hilarious movie.

  • this movie has always felt like disillusioned fellows (the coens) satirizing hollywood's reimaginings of human life and coincidences we experience. It also feels like A Serious Man, sort of how it implies that shit is just fucked up, beyond our control - and at times our comprehension- , so just do what you can with what you get/have.

  • "i guess we learned not to do it again"

    "yes sir"

"fuck if i know what we did"

"yes sir, its hard to say"

hahaha my favorite line of the movie

  • @Kent3003434 Same here, both of the Rasche/Simmons scenes absolutely killed me in this movie, but this was the perfect finale to the film. So completely sums up the entire system!

  • @Kent3003434 one of the funniest scene ever!

  • i would have just had linda killed instead of spending uncle sams money on boob jobs and tummy tucks, its cheaper and more of a guarentee that nothing gets out

  • "What did we learn Paler"?

    "I don't know sir"

    "I don't fuckin know either"

    Sums up the movie nicely.

  • this crazy bitch caused all those lost lives just for some surgery..........

  • @jay4457

I love how there's this profound nature under this film, despite it being so FUNNY!

They're all greedy and stupid, and when they collide it causes a CLUSTERF@CK

  • i dont know why this movie doesnt get more recognition. one of the comedies ive ever seen, far better than all that adamsandler benstiller sethrogen stuff that is all the same. sad statement about cinema and its viewers, only the really cheap and dumb stuff gets watched.

  • Love Richard Jenkins, hated the movie.

  • Definitly not the funniest scene. That is definitly the phone conversation bewteen malkovich and Pitt

  • "...for f*cksake, put him on the next flight to Venezuela!!" lol

  • What a BAD film. Half way in I was wondering when it was going to start. Then it ended with the guy just summing the whole film up by saying it doesn't make any sense and then saying 'I dunno' and then it finishes. What a baaaaad film. It wasn't even funny. The trailer is grossly misleading too.

  • @Barryedwards87

I think you've missed the point of the movie. Are you familiar with other Coen Brothers' movies?

  • @Styhn No, never heard of them. Maybe that's why I didn't like it, because I'm not familiar with their style.

  • @Barryedwards87

Yeah I think that might be the case :)

The humor that the Coen Brothers put in their movies isn't the kind of humor you see in 'standard' Hollywood comedy movies.

Have you seen The Big Lebowskki? You might give that one a chance, it's kind of humor is a bit more 'accessible' if you're not familiar with Coen Brothers' movies. Enjoy!

  • This scene really made the movie for me. It was only moderately funny until this part, here it suddenly went from kinda funny to absolutely fucking hilarious! Great movie!

  • good, great, is he dead? lmao

  • This is one of my favorite anti-CIA movies. Sirius can suck a fat one for all I care. :) cheers!

  • The Coen brothers are going to give me a heart attack if I laugh any harder!! Absolutely loved this scene....one of the best in the movie.

  • I love this movie. It's a true story because shit like this happens every day in our government and I am sure this is how its handled. Swallow a camel and heave on a nat.

  • Spoiler...... Loved this film. Loved George Clooney character specially. For the first half of movie you knew something was "off" about him. Then when he revealed his self built Home Depot sex machine you knew what it was: He was a total idiot!

  • @alexalex3131 so was everybody else in this movie :D

  • "we have no extradition with Venezuela" . ;-)!!!!!!!! best scene ever! Coens!!! ;-)

  • I hope the Coens Bros. make more movies like (or better) than this :}

  • Coen Brothers are the best thing in US films right now

  • @vene777 Tarantinos better bro...never the less i highly respect the coen brothers and enjoy their films...

  • @JackSchitt100 well, it's a personal thing. I love Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction but since then I didn't enjoy any of his movies. To me, Inglourious Basterds was just a compilation of tributes, I hated the movie.

  • @vene777 wow thats a first ive heard about inglorious..but hey whatever its a personal thing like you said..and we all have different opinions.

  • ''Jesus What A Clusterfuck...''

  • This was a good movie.

  • great movie. It's comedy for the rest of us that cant be tickled by toilette humor.

  • The actor who plays "Palmer" should be given ten thousand Oscars. He's amazing.

  • The actor who plays "Palmer" should be given ten thousand Oscars. He's amazing.

  • how is this the funniest scene

  • @nmscats

coz you have no sense of comedy MORON...!!! LOL

  • "what do we learn, Palmer?"

    ROFLMAO...

  • Funny? This was the saddest scene in the whole movie! The beginning at least. The ending took a "No Country For old Men"-esque turn into ambiguity that made me go "huh?" The rest was cool, though.

  • @aspergiansarah I guess you're just too stupid to appreciate it..
