This is actually quite a let down. the Triple J version is excellent and this is just boring. Far slower tempo without any emotive kicks to it. Its flat and boring and adds rather little to JT's original. I love the triple J version and its far better than JT's but this bites.

it's got a good beat (deep, under lying groove and then the bass line hits!) i like her 'live' version with a bit more movement as far as faster tempo but this is a good rep of the same song with a 'harder' feel. And yes, she is much more known for her guitar skills... she's playing all of these layered parts. it's very good!

Beautiful music, beautifully done video. Don't know how Ms. King pulled this out of the uninspiring original. Providence looks sad and spooky-- I'm wondering if director waited for the perfect sky at the end, or if that just kinda happened? Opening with lights on water is lovely as well- especially when the surprising blue light appears.

Great cover! I wouldn't expect anything less from her though. I don't know how you can say the original is uninspiring when it's sounds very close to the original in so many ways.

Are you joking? I'm not even fond of the original but this one is far more uninspired, which is just as well since it's a cover. It was tired when Milow did it for 'Ayo technology' (at least that original was godawful to begin with) and it's very tired now.
