No it's not stealing, the producers aren't loosing anything. They would however, under the assumption that this person would buy the application if downloading wasn't available (which is a big assumption), loose profit which can be percieved as stealing.

I do recommend however to support private developers and small businesses if you wish to see more from them.

I agree. I think that they were trying to make it sound better out of the DS's speakers, but they should have known that people would want to use it outside of the built-in speakers, and included some option for fuller sound.

it works flawly through a ROLAND SP-404, we were using our TV as an amp last night to jam and we hooked up the ds through the 404 to the tv and then used the ROLAND to mix and recorde and add a nice layers to the mix.

Did anyone else notice the inadvertent minor 2nd transposition at 7:02? Shoulda kept it, IMO. The jp.youtube STEREO ver. showcases the "pan" function a whole lot better, if interested.

the thing that people dont understand bout this is that this aint a game, this is a real app for the ds, sold in stores as any other commercial synth out there(because the AQ int. programmers that did this freakin job must eat, too)...only that this aint for pc or mac, it's for ds...and it's also avery powerful synthesizer... i tried this on my friend's DS and WOW it's just what i needed to create music on the go, without carrying my pc with me every day... and hey, that's KORG approved! :D

Yes it is a synthesizer using the ds audio capability to produce sounds. This is not a game, there's no point except doing music but it can be really fun once you understand how it works. Basically there's a lot of knobs you can play with to modulate sounds, and the sequencer (look at 2:10) to create your music parts.

Can't wait to get one! The biggest problem I see with this is many will view it as a "game". It's not, and you need to at least understand the basics of a synth to get the most out of the DS-10. This isn't one of those turn it on and you're a pro apps either. I've checked numerous game stores here in the US, and NONE of them have this on their list for release. It's coming to the US mid October, but I think this will more than likely be an online order. The games stores never heard of it here.

It is all in Japanese (manual), mine arrived yesterday. But I`m just gonna play around lots til I get the hang of it.

That said, think of the poor Japanese, they can read the manual back-to-back, but still have to be confronted with an all English interface when using the thing...

I don't think it's such a problem for them. Like many countries, English is heavily assimilated into their culture. Alot of English is tossed around through advertising, television shows, signs, menu interfaces, even other video games.

OMG I gotta have this. Japan release is July, and there is supposed to be a "world release", but dates for other areas of the world are TBA. Price in USA is supposed to be $50 or less. That's a freaking killer bargain for what this little synth is capable of doing. Never in my years did I think we'd be seeing something like this for making music.
