It seems that everyone's version of Double Dutch is different x.x I grew up speaking my brother's version of Double Dutch (I am now 22 and learned it at the age of 5), which he learned back in the 80s. To this day, nobody can understand us ;) Since typing out a phrase is harder for me, I'll just go with our version of hello: Heh-deh-geh lo-doh-go. Does that even make sense? lol And it feels more like an actual doubling of the English language to me... even though "Dutch" is in the name lol
@KiLOJEE16 Ha! Yes, you're a absolutely right. You put the letter V in there. My brother and I put the letter D. Thidagis idagis thedage waydagay Idagi speadageak duddagubbuldagle dudagutch =P
I really like the vid but im sure thats definatley Gibberish not Double Dutch!
Double Dutch is stupidley hard and It has its own alphabet and everything. Gibberish you just add things like "ithig"and "othag" inbetween sounds in the word. Double Dutch is different, you replace each constanant with its corresponding double dutch alphabet sound and leave the vowels. I find pig latin the easiest one, I cant do double dutch or gibberish, oday ouyay eallyray indfay igpay atinlay hatay ardhay!?
@QueenOfScarletHearts I had never heard of that kind of Double Dutch before, sounds way cooler than mine, which is "ithig." When I first learned it, it was described (in a book) as Double Dutch. Thanks for the tip, I'll look into this "real" Double Dutch and see what I come up with. And yes, I think Gibberish is way easier than ipay atinlay. I always trip up on the latter, but the former is fairly straightforward. :)

Double Dutch reminds me of a language we speak in my school, called alabi.
I'm not quite sure how it works, I can just speak it, but it sounds very similar in the rules:
"I can speak alabi"
"Ilabi calaban spealabeak alabi" xD

@zooevicutu Seems just like the way KiLOJEE16 and I speak it =P You use an L, I use a D, and they use a V. Depends on the teacher, I guess! lol
