I really think they should either pick up Ranma 1/2 from where it left off in the series, or re-make it and have it follow the manga like Dragonball Kai is doing. Even though the OVA with Hinako is very good, imo, the initial story with Ranma vs Hinako in the manga was far better. Not to mention, the later stories with Hinako actually get better and would be great to watch if they were animated.

One of which is a story where Hinako gets a fishbowl with two fighting fish that constantly release battle auras. She keeps the fishbowl around her at all times and she stays as an adult indefinitely. Of course, this means she consistently beats down on Ranma with ki blasts and it becomes a mission for him to get the fishbowl away from her.
