This locomotive was nameless at Wm Bythes.
The tool cabinet should be on the end of the loco.
I had many a ride between the pug mill and the clay pit perched upon said tool box.
A Health & Safety man would have had a fit.
At the time there was another Ruston dumped on a short spur.
This loco here may have come from the nearby Hoe Hill tilery, (not sure).
Blythe's bought a Simplex after the Ruston had gearbox problems. I think 2nd gear went missing.
