whywasn't he good enough to play for montreal exactly? last year he had a twenty goal season. gomez has only 5 goals this year so realistically he'll only get 10 by the end of the season, the season being about half over, and apparently hes good enough to play for them. besides, grabovski is third line centre, sometimes second.

Gomez is a better all around player than Grabovski but to take a risk on a player who hasnt produced the points that a 7 million dollar per season player is supposed to is beyond me. Montreal could've used that money to buy someone else that can actually earn the money being made. Grabovski is a 1st or 2nd line centreman most probably a 2nd liner, easy to make the leafs first line but in reality he's a 2nd line centreman he has the potential to become a 60-70 or 75 point guy but that about it.
