  • really good, inspires me a lot :D but 1 question how did you made this body??

  • Does anyone know where i can get one or buy one just like these? i cant make this stuff. :/

  • Anyone know where i can buy one?

  • Ouch my Geometry

  • OHHHHHHH MY ANGST

  • how much for 1?

  • @AlexLeonRE4 Polyfilla is a type of paste to fill holes or something

  • OH WOW!!! I'm gonna Make one oh and you wanted to see how many people are making them around the world well...I'm In Mexico and I'm gonna make one!! Thanks!!! That was useful!! what's polyfila though? and where could I get it?

  • Great tutorial! I want to make pyramid head for the next halloween.

  • Worked like a charm, thanks a bunch!

  • i came across your videos and followed your tutorial for making the helmet. i didn't follow to a t (eg, i didn't have time for the polyfilla, used triangular pieces of metal mesh over the side panels, and also used a rust coloured spray paint lightly over the black in places) but it turned out great! i won a costume contest and got tons of compliments!

    thank you!!!!!!

  • Im sorry to ask if it sounds stupid but what are you using for the bottom half? never seen something like that is it a shower curtain wrapped around your or some kind of smaller blanket?

  • I'm not sure what you did with the polyfill

    what did you do?

  • what are you wearing on your torso at the end??

  • thank you so much for this! I'm going to get started right away <3 then I promise I'll give a shout out. :3

  • I added one more thing to my helmet I put Black ABS cement on mine to water proof it on the outside and also put more hot glue on some edges to seem like its welded on . just small stuff i did . my input

  • do you put the pollyfilla everywhere or just in the gaps?

  • So pollyfilla is basically spackling paste?

if it is, is it regular(heavy), lightweight, or light bodied

  • im sorry but this is my first time, so im kinda new to this but do you add the pollyfilla with your hands?

  • 8:20 where did you get the suit?

  • @Dax79 I'm planning to do this out of 20 gauge steel.. any way you'd coach me through some of the logistics behind it?

    XD

  • great video thanks!!! i've already made myself some halo armor and now i can add a pyramid head costume to my collection

  • Great tutorial! I'm going to cosplay as the pyramid head.

  • i can just see im swinging that knife around in the house and hitting a vase or like a bottle of red wine all over his carpet :D

  • great tutorial

  • thank you... im starting my silent hill costume early... did you use a hard hat inside of it? i want to start sometime this week...

  • Thx this vid will really help, but where can I find Multi-grip?

  • I am making this costume and so far I'm doing great, I just have one question, how do you make the texture of wrinkled old metal? Since I want it very detailed and realistic and I don't like it how it is now, really flat and with no details or texture.

  • Sweet! Thanks so much for sharing! I made a Bioshock splicer rabbit mask last year for Halloween by watching someones video on youtube so I got to thinkin maybe Pyramid Head would be cool this year, yet a lil bigger so I looked for videos and am glad you posted this video because I am really looking forward to making one this year!! I will post it if I do : )

  • I made mine from your video, I only painted it another way, so that it had the rust effect it has in the movie... and I made the skirt out of pieces of leather I put together with fishing wire, but I could not have done it without this video, so thank you sir.

  • What did you use for his chest & such?

  • @BlckHrt141 He used a ripped up muscle man costume that you can pretty much get at any costume shop.

  • he should make another video for the knife thing

  • On 1:40

What did you use in order to make it look professional?

  • these videos were in gamemaster magazines youtube video of the week when you first made them

  • nice...

    ;)

  • im definitely gonna try this bro, it's so simple, but yet, the finished product is definitely an eye catcher. thanks for making the video :)

  • this is cool wonder if it was a little heavy for your head

  • my only real problem is with the paint job, if you pay close attention, pyramid heads helmet is a sort of rusted red with some black spots here and there

  • Thank you so much for the awesome tutorial!! I'm going to be making one soon just to show off to my friends lol and for next Halloween :)

  • Thanks for the guidelines, mine worked out great. It is so solid I know I'll be able to pull it out again and again!

  • 15 hrs of work, lasted 1 hr. lol

  • Comment removed

  • Dude dont know where you found that multi grip stuff, but im going out my mind trying to find it! lol

  • I'm going to try and make this for my husband the next few days... wish me luck!

  • beautiful. thanks for the tutorial, ill make one for halloween : )

  • I'm making this for Halloween :D thanks so much for the tutorial, it'll be a great help

  • I'm making one of these for my friend :) Thanks for the video, it has helped me a great deal :) I'll be sure to show you the end result! :D

  • where'd yah get the fake muscles?

  • it's great, but someone could explain me what's the use of polyfilla? sorry I'm french and I don't understand everything. thank you ...

  • @TheWapson you use polyfilla to fill the gaps after u have it built so when u put spray paint on u dont have slits or holes on the head piece after ur finished

  • @fusiondragon143 ok, thank you^^

  • thanks for making the video man now i got something to wear to a halloween party other than a black robe and mask.

  • James thumbed this down three times

  • awesome.... totally using your tutorial for my boyfriend's halloween costume! great job on this and you're cute btw. ^_^

  • whats that thing at 7:11? and howd you get the knob on the tip?

  • Hey man, thanks for the video. I'm actually going to be constructing one of these and I'm going to wear it to school.

  • btw i commented on your first vid bout makin me one how much would you charge me for whole suit just send me a qouta and ill see if it meets within my fees good job dude

  • i made one and i scared the crap out of some 16 yearolds that came by my house that actually watched silet hill. just to see their faces was pricless thank u soo much!

  • Thanksssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • the muscles to me are a bit...much, the vidoe game version seems ot have lean muscles but they are still big, jsut not THAT big lol....a god i wish someoen would just sell oen of these online, i cant make all this >:O

  • MAKIN ONE....

  • How tall are you, Dax? And weight?

Just trying to see if I need to change dimensions.

  • What is it that you put on the carboard at 2.20? :)

Really need to know coz this is my final school project/halloween costume ^^

  • Wow thats amazing dude.Thank you so much.i'll try to make one myself.i love the movie and this will be vary awsome for yupcoming halloween.

  • wtf i cant make that :O

  • I'm curious as to how much you spent on this entire process. Was it terribly expensive?

  • I was always thinking of make a Pyramid Head cosplay, and when my girlfriend and I watched your videos, we decided to make one. I should really thank you Dax, your videos helped a lot and now I have an awesome Pyramid Head costume! My video is linked with yours, as you asked! ;-)

  • I'm totally making one :D

  • siick

  • im making one

  • Dude, omg.....I love you.

  • I'm a girl. I don't know if I could cosplay Pyramid Head. I was going to use the full Butcher smock rather than the half of it (for obvious reasons), but then I realized you'd be able to see my bra. So does anyone know where I can get that muscular top that the gentleman in the video was wearing? This sounds weird.

  • @OliviaTheEvilKitten I have an idea of how to make something similar, you take a too big ugly shirt and stuff it with something (like cotton or other not to bulky things, or you might get square arms.) and dye it.

Hope I'm not too wrong on track...

  • @OliviaTheEvilKitten You could use this thing called "invisible bra" or tight skin coloured spandex jumper/ballet outfit or sports-bra so there would be no wardrobe malfunction :3 I myself (also a girl) think that Im going to use a skin coloured sports-bra. There has been female-pyramids with the apron and just dirty bandage straped over the breast area.

  • Glad u made this tutorial, now im going to try and make one myself...that is if i can lol

  • Needs some white gloves.

  • im going to try to make one using this video. when i accomplish to make it, ill let you know. im going to work really hard on it! thanks for making this video!

  • Awesome work! :D

  • n y did u put the multi grip on the bac?

    should we do it ?

  • n on 5:12

    on the multi grip

how did u put it on the eye hole with the multi grip ?

did u use the glue or wat ?

  • @hayate2012 Yeah just glue it down, you don't have to add it it just helps if you go out in wind!

  • @Dax79 Where can i find that multi grip it'ld be great if you could help

  • hi i want 2 kno wat was that white thing that 2 put on the head on 2:23

n wat does the polyfilla 2 help the head ?

  • How did you put on the mesh on the eye holes so well? mine came out really floppy and gluey, because it was hard for me to put on, and it doesn't look very good

  • Hello, I was wondering where I could get Polyfilla? I'm having trouble finding the kind you show. Any stores that might have it?

  • This is seriously cool man!! im thinking of making one of these during the summer.

Would like nice in red/rust colour though but still so cool

  • nice make but i think it would be a bit better with a rust and blood color to it as well but not to bad of one

  • Holy bajesus, thats amazing, I really want to make 1 now :D Thumbs up if this is amazulating :D comment if u think otherwise. :D

  • where would you get the "metal" white card stuff and what is it exactly? sorry to ask lawl

  • @xRage64x I think that it was more cardboard to give it a more beefed-up metal look. Not positive though.

  • you are my HERO

  • oh man...it would be so perfect if u put some rust colour in the corners

  • Im sure pyramids head has bolts running down the center at the front, what would you suggest?

  • cant wait to finish mine, insted of card board im using thin metal

  • He could of just used poster board or comic back and just layered it over the pieces. Its quicker. Lul. And its very nice to paint on.

  • only recomendation i'd make is more then just back paint make it a disgusting putrid rust color

  • aaaah!!! thank you!!! ive been looking for something like this foreeeever!!! XD

  • what should I do for height because I'm not going to grow 3 ft in one night and im 11, aslo im going as game clothes but movie mask. i need help with the mask

  • Wait until you're taller. And older. Pint sized Pyramid Head would be hilarious, not scary.

  • Height doesn't matter if you want to do the cos.

  • Pyramid Head walkin' in chill on kitchen! Woooot!

  • lol phone call

  • LoL pink phone

  • I want to make one of these, but I also want the pyramid head clothing. What exactly do they wear from the outside in? I want to be extremely accurate...

  • Try muslin

  • i making one!

  • O:

I want to make one...just to make one! I'd never use it, but it would be neat. :'D

I have the first video favorited, so I'll try and convert the measurements over to something we American's can grasp a little easier. xD

  • ok. making one. going to get in shape and wear it for Halloween this year and beyond.

    thanks a ton!

  • dude let me buy that

  • You forgot a thing ;o

the Gloves ! Because we can see your hands...and it looks a bit strange with the Musclething, you know?

  • where you get the body from?

  • I'll totally be making one over Christmas break, just for the fun of it~.

    Thanks so much for this~. ;^;

  • I made one two years ago, I still have it, it's in my room by my bed, it looks awsome with my bed room x)

I changed it last haloween, I put a LITTLE of red-brown spray can, now it looks like it's tainted in blood, and a little rusted.. my room never been as awsome as now x)

  • that was cool

  • what I'm doing is some sort of craft foam to shape the helmet and then I'll give it a coat of plaster or a liquid that becomes really hard when it dries, a sword made completely out of wood with a tail devil on the end so sparks do spark things when I drag the sword, but I'm 11 years old and pretty short so Ill need 70's platform shoes.... lol jk and btw is it true that he eats dead rats?

  • You forgot to spray paint the part under the front its still cardboard color

also you forgot the blood stains and rust.

  • will dry wall or mighty putty work for polyfilla because i can not find any

  • das ist glaube ich eine füllmasse, hört sich irgendwie nach polymerschaum an^^

  • what is pollyfilla in german?

  • Fugenkleber oder sowas ^^Also KEIN gips XD

  • aso na dann ;) naja jetzt ist es auch egal habe es irgendwie dann doch noch geschafft ^^

  • all done now =D woot looks great just need to make the great knife now thanks dax you have been a massive help =) you should make your girl friend a nurses outfit and then you can go as pyramid head and nurse and make your friends something from silent hill and then all go as a massive silent hill costume gang haha anyways keep up the awesome vids massive fan. Mark Gilbert - Thewushu666.

  • haha its took me 4 days and iv just sanded the pollyfiller

  • i don't understand the polyfilla part, is polyfilla the same stuff for covering the holes in the wall? Was it that 4cm extra cardboard that dax used covered with polyfilla to give that professional look?

  • Yeah, that's it.

  • yep that is

  • I HAVE FINISHED MY COSTUME!!!!!! It looks amazing! I based it all on these vids. I thank you, Dax79, for these informative tutorials. I'll upload a video of the end product soon. : D

  • 1:12 te yamaron por telefono

  • Hey man great work on the videos! Sadly, I have only found your videos recently and I'm still thinking of rushing the costume next week. Thanks for the videos and I will upload something for you if I decide to make one! Doing anything special for Halloween this year? Have a great one!

  • I'll finish mine today. Thx Dax, there should be more people like you on youtube :)

  • kudos for the pyramid head. you inspired me to create this costume for Halloween. i have one question. how did u calculate the angle that the two front panels have to be when they are glued to the helmet?

  • How you do the knife

  • im making mine by this video! kudo's!

  • If I tried to make that I would probably mess up like I usually do. But, for me that would be very, very hard for me to make. But I'll attempt to do this! I hope it turns out like the one you made! :)

  • hey man great video, i think ill make one too, mite go more towards the game version thou, ill post a video once its done! :D

  • im going to put a thin sheet of metal on the sword so when i drag it it will sound like one

  • nice job, like the muscle shirt

  • Hey Dax97

    First of all.....Amazing Videos :D

But can you tell me whre do you get this Muscleshirt ?

I need it for my next Con :DD

---- thx for all replys ----

ohh and btw...this question goes to all of you youtubers :DD

    cyaa

  • I think you get them at maybe toys r us? or any Halloween shop since Halloween is coming soon.

  • thx 4 the reply i will look at....

  • hey dont use a muscle shirt use a full bodied apron made of duck cloth or canvas like the old pyramid head.

    muscle shirts look cheesy

  • hey slip man, i saw a muscle shirt in one of those SPIRIT HALLOWEEN Stores...

  • Thanks Dax79, I'm currently making a 1/4 Scale Model of the helmet, but as soon as I get my hands on some good cardboard I'll be in for the real deal. Thanks for the help!

  • gloss or flat spray paint?

  • hey what is that thing you put the helmet on to hold it?

  • me and my girl friend are going to make me one for an anome con next year thanks dude

  • Thanks Dax this video helped me out SO much! I just finished my helmet and am now putting the finishing touches on my sword and apron. I had a stroke of insanity and made my sword WAY too big,( like 8 feet. And instead of 2 sheets of cardboard, i have 4. seriously) and I can barely maneuver it. I am going to a con in a few weeks and will DEFINITELY make a video to re to this one!

  • dude, when u walked out that door in your final costume... i freaked.

i'm using brown cardboard, should i spraypaint it white as a base color b4 i spray paint it black/brownish?

  • Use a primer then go over with whatever color you plan to use.

  • thanks, that really helps!

  • where a good place to buy all the supplies and will it cost a lot?

  • Hey bro, how good would you say the visibility is?

  • i done an exactly same as him, and at night, the visibility, depending on how large the hole for the eyes are, is around 40%-60%

if there are any light, you will be able to know what's there, but in dark places, it's pretty hard...

if there is a car around you, if the driver put on his light as he is suppose to do, you will know it 100% believe me =)

  • Not great! but worth it!!

Practise at home walking throw doorways etc... even workout how to pee in it LOL

  • That's insane!

  • is the "helmet" heavy when you where it?

  • Oh yes!

  • I'm planning to use a copper color for the spraypaint, then I'll sponge it with black paint to give it that dark "evil" look. How does that sound?

  • start with black and then sponge with copper. the item is rusted, doing it your way would invert the colors.

  • Okay. Thanks.

  • amazing...do it and upload a video in youtube....i will appreciate it :DD

  • Yep, ill definetly be running from you, with that costume on.. o.o

  • i made one from my drawing it came out very well give me ur e-mail and ill send the pich of it and if i could fix it any way plz tell

  • NEAT! Now if only I could wair it and not be yelled at for rule 63ing PH I would be happy.
