  • So... Where is the assassin? ^^

  • When will everybody shut up about Ezio?

  • This show is exciting. Francois is hot! The character he plays is passionate, loyal, and sexy. I would sin over & over again to be with him. No convent for me!

  • Why is everyone so obsessed with the video games?!

  • Where the hell is Ezio?!?!

  • @Nemisish In "Assassin Creed", I guess! LOL ...just joking! XD XD XD

  • Is this a cut scene of season 1 pilot (I do not recall the angle of him kissing his ring but perhaps it did place)? And the Vicar of Rome is supposedly Cardinal Orsini being discussed?

  • The Borgias Trailer with Catch The Falling Sky (Dorian Gray Soundtrack)

i think this Borgia production really helps support all the talent in the USA that is still available and still here....just needs polishing and more creative writers with guts...unafraid to tell the truth.....the truth is the truth and then it becomes history! Thank You Showtime for your quality programming...Need More to inspire our minds:)

  • Although canon law requires all Catholic dioceses to have one or more vicars general, the Cardinal Vicar functions more so than the others as a de facto diocesan bishop due to the Pope's many other responsibilities. There is a similar position dealing with the spiritual needs of the Vatican City called the Vicar General for the Vatican City State, or more exactly, Vicar General of His Holiness for Vatican City. He too is a cardinal.

  • Cardinal Vicar (Italian: Cardinale Vicario) is a title commonly given to the vicar general of the diocese of Rome for the portion of the diocese within Italy. The official title, as given in the Annuario Pontificio (under the heading "Vicariate of Rome"), is "Vicar General of His Holiness for the Diocese of Rome". The Bishop of Rome appoints the Cardinal Vicar with ordinary power to help with the spiritual administration of his diocese.

  • Does anybody think Jeremy is so deliciously wicked in this series? Thumbs up if you agree! :)

  • Whose version of Ave Maria Paien is playing?

  • I know it's messed up but I want Lucrezia and Cesare to be together!! I think they make a great couple! <333

  • Francois is SOOOOOOOOO very sexy ;)

  • The Borgias is miles ahead of The Tudors, probably because it has a better cast (sorry to say, but even Maria Doyle-Kennedy, Jeremy Northam and Sam Neill couldn't save that show) and better writing, courtesy of Neil Jordan. Especially as far as historical adaptations go, the artistic liberties taken make sense re the narrative flow. It's a fine series to pay homage to that period and its Italian principalities.

  • Whats the name of the song? Please tell me?

  • Just made a dream cast for the second season, check it out and leave feedback, thanks!

  • Those pants! My heart just skipped a beat.... ;)

  • Ceasare's pants :]]]]]]] nomnomnom haha

  • I must call ezio

  • @andrika1990 or just right here on good ol' youtube. search it. lol

  • Llllove the show, they couldn't have found better actors for this. I'm hooked, can't wait for the next episode... and the next...

P.S: Gawd, I'm so tired of every comment about Ezio and AC!

  • Damn it!

I thought Ezio was going to jump out of nowhere and stick a blade in him... Ahh well...

  • @gerardbutlerlurver I wish someone would answer this as well!

  • so.... Ezio's not in it then?

  • I love the Medieval times <3

  • @musicalprodigy7

This was the Renaissance not the Medieval period.

  • So God will take his revenge then? Yes, he will with ours help O.o

  • Who sing this Ave Maria?

  • 0:33 =Requiescat in Pace

  • Francois Arnaud looks perfect for Ceasare and is brining sexy back alive

  • this series is gonna be awesome can't wait

  • Leather pants in the 1500 century??

  • @mara426 made by the great Italian Renaissance Tailor, of course! ;)

  • The WONDERFUL costiumes of THE TUDORS were not really very authentic. They were more like Elizabethan fashion, sexier and far more flattering than Henry and his wives were seen in. I think Francois Arnaud looks perfect for Ceasare as do the rest of the cast. This show looks every bit as entertaining as THE TUDORS has been. Its not a history lesson

  • @rees276 so true its for entertainment

  • What's the music ?

  • Pope Alexander VI (Rodrigo Borgia) is reputed to have committed his first murder at 12. His 2 dominant passions were gold and women. The Banquet of Chestnuts, also known as the “Joust of the Whores," was a favorite pastime. Corruption was nothing new to the Papacy; the Borgia’s simply brought it to new lows with murder, poisonings, incest, greed and nepotism. The Inquisition (which did not officially end until the 20th Century, the Conquest of the Americas and the Crusades, are recorded.

  • damn that boy looks fine.

  • leather pants :D

  • @prionse Yes, I was disappointed with the leather pants. That is not period dressing. In fact, I had hoped they would use many of he wonderful costumes of the Tudors. The actor who plays Cesare has been poorly chosen, he is too efferent to play this viral and fascinating character, the man was a warrior. This actor looks like a girl with leather pants on.

  • @JuliaLeigh7111 its called entertainment and get a grip

  • @JuliaLeigh7111

i kinda thought the same thing when i first seen who they chose! that they could chose this twit of a guy to play the mighty DUKE OF VALENTINO was dissapointing. but then i remembered, he was only 17/18 years old when he first became a cardinal, still a boy compared to the man he would become. but the more i watched the more drawn into the character i got. and now i think he is an excellent Valetino. and ya never know....he mite gain some muscle...lol. && here's hoping &&

  • @JuliaLeigh7111 lol are you serious? The Tudors was one of the most historically inaccurate shows ever -- you want to talk about costuming, half of the outfits were something out of bad "historical" films. The plotline mostly consisted of sex with some backpedaling attempts to include the religious strife and controversy of that period, dates constantly mixed up, and oh yeah, how about Jonathan Rhys-Meyers as Henry VIII? I believe his acting consisting of CAPSLOCK and more CAPSLOCK.

  • Music anyone?

  • @EvanSol919 have you found the music yet?? I cant find it at all

  • jesus christ.. why don't they at least use southern european looking actors? can't take this seriously at all.

  • Absolutely Amazing!

  • Showtime really is on a roll lately with these brilliant choices in their minseries decisions.

  • Quick! Somebody get Ezio Auditore De Farienze

  • The right pick after the fantastic Tudors...

Have read much about those guys and their family has everything for a longlasting drama, inlucluding murder, treason and incest :D

  • Omg I'm sooo psyched for this show!

  • Looks awesome with each promo!

  • Awesome, April 3 The Borgias will be here!

  • I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!

  • I CAN'T WAIT OH MY GOD

  • oooooo i can't wait to see it!!!

  • should be an awesome spring with this starting and A Game of Thrones as well!

  • Dammit.... Spring was never that far away.... Can't wait....

  • Who sings this version of "Ave Maria"?

  • I think Francois Arnaud is perfect for this role. In all the previews/promos that I've seen, he seems to have a lot of charisma. And you can kinda tell already from promos that he is a talented actor.

  • Jeremy Irons is a great actor and I can't wait to see him as Rodrigo Borgia.

  • I'm not quite sure if François Arnaud is a good actor for Cesare...he doesn't act a lot like him. But Cesare was just 18 in this scene, so I guess he will become more cruel later...;)

  • if they play this out like they do in assassins creed im gonna be really damn excited :D

  • This looks even better the more I see promos for it.

  • well guys, vigor means strength

  • Idd, it should be "vicar of Rome" :D.

  • I think you may mean "Vicar of Rome," Showtime. I've never heard the Pope referred to as the "Vigor" outside of this promo title.

    Just sayin'. ;)

  • @fakesmith797 haha, i was thinking the same, perhaps cesare will be shown with lucrezia and caterina sforza.

  • @fakesmith797

    Lol.

    Big Brotherhood fan I see.

  • @fakesmith797

    haha I know right?

  • @fakesmith797 What are you talking about? He either died of malaria or was poisoned with Cesare at a dinner with Cardinal Adriano de Corneto. Both got sick but only Cesare managed to recover.

  • @Vega01 lol i know Cesare got better, but i was referring to the computer game: Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

  • @fakesmith797 Oh, I don't know the game. Are the Borgias in it?

  • @Vega01 they're the bad guys in the game lol, but it's mainly about Cesare

  • @fakesmith797 I saw a couple of vids now but I didn't care for the way they portrayed Lucrezia, she wasn't evil :(.

  • Jeremy kick ass!

  • Awesome Jeremy

  • Can't wait ... !!! Jeremy Irons ^_^

  • weee
