Miho put it down. There are so many credible Japanese artists (Jay'ed, Ken Hirai, Misia, Mai Fukui, Hikaru Utada). Even Mika Nakashima. And they actually sing many songs with no autotune, many times with just piano for backup. I'd love to see Mariah Carey put out one single with just her and a piano with no echo.

It sucks that the majority of the japanese focus more on the looks of their jpop idols or if they have "kawaii" qualities rather than focusing on pure talent some singers have like Miho. Useless girl groups like AKB48 with like 50 girls in one band is just stupid and lame. These girls who think being under tons of make up and making fools of themselves on stage thinking they have talent are one of the many idols that girls (in this case) look up to. Im not bashing japan I myself am full japanese

Yes, she is a Christian. There is a decent portion of the Japanese population that is. I never thought ones religion should really be a topic of debate, however. Except if they're Scientologists, but that's not a real religion anyway.
