The Cube is a metaphore for persons, characters, not selfaware. The traps are the things other awakened beeings, in peoples bodies, are trying to do, if a person is weakened enough.

It´s quite easy: If you only have your 5 senses and your thinking, with your character, build up by experiences, than you are not awakened.

If you are awakended the world goes alot easier, and you cannot be destroyed, your inner world stolen by others, that easy in a life.

Lemme narrow this movie down. I've seen it. So, a group of people (I think they are prisoners) are thrown into a maze of various cubes. If they enter the wrong cube, they get a very gruesome death.

Cube...einer der besten Trilogien der letzten Jahre...dagegen ist SAW ein Scheißdreck gegen. Hoffe auf einen baldingen 4ten Teil. Einfach nur zu empfehlen.

@KlausM81 achduliebezeit, das glaub ich nu nicht. Als ich den ersten Teil gesehen hatte dachte ich mir es währe eventuell interessant gewesen wenn da nicht dieser Psychopath einfach alle killen würde. Dann habe ich den Zweiten gesehen, da wurde noch mehr Potenzial noch übler zunichte gemacht. Der Dritte war dann etwas anders, bis diese Technikfreaks übernommen haben. Die Idee hat so dermassen viel Potenzial und es wurde nichts daraus gemacht, schade eigentlich.
