  • "Sometimes you need to turn on your own Ideals as well, For they may not be your own"

  • Maybe the world realy needs CB itsn not much different in the show. It is not essentially wrong to change the world by force for years it has been done better or worse. "To stop a world from destroying itself its eyes need to be pryed open"

  • NOT an AMV this is just background music to episode 1 wtf?

  • Wow. Very nice AMV. Though I've never seen Gundam OO, I must say this was well made.

    -Tansho S.E.

  • Personally I liked the other vid, it put more emphasis on the music and it's stronger points (1:07 to 1:41) if you use that part and buoild on it you get a great AMV, but I have to say good job on the use of scenes.

  • Ohhhhh AceCombat 4 music in the beginning?

  • It's from Ace Combat 5.

  • is it just me or this reminds me of full metal panic!

  • Well, l both shows do share some of the same mechanical and writing staff, so some similarity isn't a coincidence.

  • thx

  • well ive got big news, Gundam 00 will be airing in the US on the scifi channel on nov. 17 of this year

  • Never watched the anime but something about the background of where the kid is running reminds me of the Iraq war.

Yeah I know the Iraq war doesnt' involve gundams but the building seem very desert esque (maybe it's the color pallette?) and the whole fighting in civilian area.

  • Actually, that was whole idea, the lead character is from a fictional Middle Eastern country where he was a child soldier. His people were being wiped out by soldiers in an ethnic cleansing campaign. Gundam 00 tries to incorporate real world issues like terrorism, religious extremism, and nationalism to create a more realistic setting than most Gundam shows.

  • .__.; Do they do this for all their series?

If so, then what Gundam Wing based on? XD

  • The main theme of most Gundam shows is war, but each show addresses it differently. None of the shows I think have touched the subject of terrorism so directly before 00. Wing featured theme of peace, war, and revolution, the lead characters are technically terrorists but sidestepped the issue to avoid showing them as anything but heroes.

  • interesting view. I havent thought of it that way but then again ive only seen a couple of the gundam shows. but i think 00 shows how sometimes you must sometimes go against even the world itself in order to right something that is fundementally wrong with society. and how the government can easily label someone who doesnt agree with their methods as a terrorist.

  • Not exactly. Remember how in Team America there were 3 types of people? Dicks, pussies, and assholes. Well, celestial being are pussies who go so full of shit that they turned into assholes themselves. Not only that, but Gundam 00 itself was nothing more than an overly pretentious commentary on post 9/11 american foreign policy. And G Gundam is still the greatest gundam series of all time.

  • @mescuniquejohnson consequently each Gundam series focuses on growing concerns and moral dilemmas and the result that society could be become. Gundam Wing addressed the issue of unmanned and automated warfare and the effect of dehumanizing war. Gundam Seed addressed Genetic Manipulation of humans, as well as the results of Nuclear Warfare and how it affects people. Gundam 00 addressed the growing concern for our depleted supply of fossil fuels, as well as the effects of war on peoples lives.

  • Destiny never aired in the US and SEED did rather poorly in the ratings, though I think the show was set up for failure IMO. In general the fan base for Gundam has never been that big in fact it has been shrinking steadily, not growing. It would be nice if someone gave the series a chance on TV, but I just don't see it happening not when Bandai would make more money on it from DVD sales than from ad revenue from a TV broadcast.

  • Gundam Seed is one of the best Gundams, and has amazing drama. If it was rated poorly that´s the US´s fault lol, and the dubs:X

  • It's doubtful that this series will air in the US, Gundam just isn't a money-making property here. Cartoon Network won't touch it, unless it makes them Naruto money. Sci-Fi channel might do something with it, but your better off waiting for the DVD release.

  • I might beg to differ... Gundam Wing was the start. There were other Gundam series that followed. Gundam SEED/SEED Destiny, which was the series before 00 air in the US. I wouldn't put it past them to air it at night along with other anime.

  • This show is gonna get edited hard before its shown dubbed in America

  • Oh... damn. Think of the censorship possibilities that the company will have to make in order to make it "more appealing". Screw that. Keep this or rather just put it on late at night.

  • Blame the FCC

  • amazing job! thats all I can say. Great show too.

  • ...Wow. That's all I can say....wow. 5/5

  • good job

  • Well it was my first video and I wasn't sure how it was going to come together. I hope I've improved since this first one, glad you liked it though.

  • Hey man! Great job on your first AMV!
