My Brother Bill Silvernail renovates many of these homes in Elmira NY. I was lucky enough to visit Elmira back around 2001 and i call it Mayberry (We are from South Florida) I was so blown away at this beautiful small town!! When my brother married that weekend it seemed like the whole damn town was involved (: I did not want to leave. Is this anywhere near Sly Ave?
This absolutely fascinating. I'd think Jane would have mentioned that beautiful tree more often. Still, I am gonna visit this place this summer. I just wanna feel what it was like to be Jane those days. Thank you for posting this!

I started reading the Seth materials back in the 70's when I was a very young, lost soul. I attribute Seth Speaks and The Nature of Personal Reality in forming the attitudes and beliefs in my adult life, and my life has been filled with adventure and success ever since. These 2 books have never left my night stand. I read them over and over. Loved this video of the house Jane lived in. I'm reading her biography now. She had a rather hard life. What an amazing woman. Good energy to all.
@yooperlooper Hello. You may not be on Youtube any more but The Nature of Personal Reality is one of my alltime favorite books. I was a student of Dr. T. Albert Thomas (clinical psychologist, psychic, metaphysician) when we met Jane Roberts more than 30 years ago. Yes, she had a said life but it was filled with truth and wonder. Oh, how I wish I could return to that time with what I know today lol.
Don't get it. My mom lived in the upper apt. for awhile. I lived in top apt at 530 (decent) out of HS. Nothing odd at either place except this place was run down & landlord wasn't very good at all.
im gettin chills up my spine, i lived in the house / garage out back... after reading the description about astral projections im freaked... all sorts of weird stuff happened there. that is where i belive i had an out of body experience, tell me more about what this house is so important thank you
Cool that you lived nearby! The house is where Jane Roberts channeled some of the 'Seth' material and also wrote her own books related to metaphysics, including astral projection, Astral projection is natural, 25% of the American adults have reported it. Read 'Seth Speaks,' for starters, if you are curious. Thanks for you comment!
I think its a grand big house..a lot bigger than what I grew up in anyway.Wonder how they afforded it. How come you could just walk in like that? was any one living there at the time!!
What I walked into was just a lobby, basically, with units up the stairs. Yes I believe that people lived in the house at the time, though I'm not sure that they know the significance of it. At one time I'm sure it was an incredible mansion.
@lookmerlin1 ok..so a kind've shared accomidation. Yea I wonder if they realised though it must have a history of Jane and Roberts work with Seth attached to it i the comunity by word of mouth even
Thank's Dan For That Wonderful Little Tour.I Have to Tell You That I Believe in The Teachings of SETH More Than I do The Bible. Seth Teaches us The Facts About Our Reality. Not MumboJumbo.
Thanks Dan! Your vid sent shivers up my everything! You/your comments are cute!!! "You can tell... I don't know what you can tell!" Too Funny! So sweet! thanks!
This is incredibly interesting to me, as I've read most of the Seth books and a few of the "Jane" books.
RIP Rob, who passed on 5-26-08. It's nice to imagine him catching up on things with Jane, and maybe finally getting some answers to those questions he never quite got back around to in the Seth sessions. This world is far better for having had them in it; many thanks for helping us create a better reality. I'd recommend people to actually read the books rather than making nasty comments.
All I see is a house with a very bad paint job. Funny, I travel past this house quite frequently and I've never experienced anything extraordinary... not even a 'good' rummage sale.
It reminds me of a show on Tolkien, they filmed where he lived and wrote the last book of lord of the rings, they showed the garage that he turned into a writting studio, where he had had all the maps of middle earth on the wall. Now, with the new owner its just a regular garage with a bunch of bikes and stuff. Unbelievable really to see where history actually takes place.
It is like seeing part of my past that I don't quite remember. I wonder if the person living there knows the importance of what happen in that living room. The beginning of a new age.
I just want to say how thankful I am for this video. Seth Speaks and The Seth Material were so important to me when I found them back in the early eighties. To see where it all took place is very impactful. Thank You
It's in Upstate (central) NY, just above the Northeastern corner of Pennsylvania, I think. Rob came from PA and Jane, from Saratoga Springs, NY. Thanks for this vid, lookmerlin1!
I'd never seen this house before. What a trip!
I discovered Jane, Rob and Seth in late 1980 and always thought about visiting Elmira to find this house!
Is the home a historical site? It appears to be unoccupied, but lights were on in the home (lobby). You also seemed to become very quiet once you entered the home. I'd like to know more of the state of the home.
Hi, The home was occupied last fall when I was there. It is not a historical site (yet!). the home is in so-so condition. The landlord is not a neat freak, put it that way. the paint looks OK, but the house could use some work. I did not see the inside, though. I think the fact that the house is still standing speaks well for its builders in the 19th century! --Dan
A very beautiful home indeed, but a little fresh paint and possibly new roofing would transform that home into a show ready historical site. I love New England's atmosphere.
Thanks for that. With all the descriptions of the surroundings in the books, it's
really interesting to see what it looks like now. Helps to visualize it when reading about it.

Wonderful, just wish you would have been able to explore the house further...Hope one day to visit it...

@maggiedon1 At the time it was occupied by tenants who were not home, and apart from that I didn't want to intrude.

I "spend" a lot of time here (in Jane and Rob's house), in book form. This video expands my conception of it psychically. Many thanks for posting.
