  • I just contacted Pioneer tech support and my AVIC-Z110BT DOES HAVE DUAL ZONE!!! u click on the big orange music note symbol that says AV and then u will see this icon that says MIRROR something.each time you click on that icon it changes say like from dvd to ipod to av1 to av2 etc.anyways what that does is it allows you to run said devices on the rear monitors independently from the front. So u can be listening to music from yer iphone up front while the kiddies n back listen to something else.

  • I want to know something. I have the AVIC-Z110BT and I have back seat screens in the head rests and want them to be playing while I listen to something different up front, however my AVIC doesn't have the dual zone thing. I want to know if I do the two hundred dollar upgrade, is the dual zone thing part of the software, or is it something within the hardware in the avic-z120bt, z130bt and z140bt? i'd much rather do the software upgrade rather than buying a whole new GPS system.

  • I just did the update, I love it

  • i put music videos on the sd card but it wont read it on my z110bt..it shows that there videos on the card.

  • To Hell with this upgrade, if you can call it that. The iPod controls that came on the z110bt where the best out there, and taking that away really blows. Menu Play/Pause Next/Prev on the iPod wheel looking interface was nice, large and familiar. What they have improved is nice, but micro buttons for play/pause is not good.

  • How well do the audio/media controls work with this unit? Is there any lag in performance or responsiveness?

  • is there anything in the settings to make it look like the old ipod controls the 110 had, some of the 120 stuff is cool but i dont like the new ipod interface. main reason i want to update, is cause i think it will be less glitchy, my 110 keeps fucking up with playing the ipod and is really slow

  • wow - can you tell me the format, codec, resolution of whatever file was on that SD card? I tried every possible video format and extension known to man and none worked

  • Did you try out the dual zone video options yet? ... Where you can display video in your back seat and continue to navigate and play the iPod up front?

  • @jromer1

I do not have a rear entertainment system but the dual zone thing works and is easy to get to now. See in the video where it says "Mirror AV" on the left... you hit that and it switches to ipod, dvd, etc. This allows you to control what continues to play in the back

  • how much was it to do the upgrade to it?

  • @masofpupts

lets see it was $200 BUT you can only look it up yourself...

  • make another video.........

  • @IIHYDROSMOK3NII

i have the iphone 4 and it works with no real issues. i have noticed though with the iphone hooked up and using as an ipod its not as responsive as my ipod touch. I do not have a backup camera but i do use bluetooth and it works great. You do have to pay extra for msn direct features but they are stopping service with it in a year

  • how did you get the ugrade? i have a z110bt and i want to upgrade mine to..

  • @deathrow318

    go on pioneer's website

  • @scharnhorst310 thanks

  • i went to the websit and i couldnt find it?

  • @deathrow318

lol ok dude here you go... put this into google

    CNSD-110FM

  • @scharnhorst310

how do you put videos on the sd card? i put some music videos on my sd card and it wont read it. when i put it in the co,puter it read it..is there another way to do it?

  • @deathrow318 for example for music on the sd you have to make a folder called 'music' and put the music in that folder. same idea for the videos. name a folder 'video' and the videos have to be a certain format. I believe AVI. just test it out like i've been doing with mine.

  • @scharnhorst310

how do u transfer videos to the sd card? i try it and it wont read it on my z110bt..

  • Which model iPod are you using? You should be able to scroll the track list with the iPod. I know with my 3rd gen iPod nano on the x920bt, you can.

  • @poppys33d

I am using 1st gen ipod touch and i pretty much figured it out. top left of the ipod screen their is the music symbol, hit that and it will allow you to scroll the ipod track list. However I have not figured out how to keep this setting since every time i go back to ipod it resets.
