When your partner is nearly critically in need of a heal you pop out got mage CS ,then rogue blind you/ if you trinket that = switch kidney shot followed by deep freeze or vanish-garotte = goodbye ?! the worse thing you could ever do is to leave your partner in critically need of heal.

That build is called a Restokin build; a hybird moonkin/resto build where you healed and put out decent damage.

Tree form didnt give the druids the extra armor back in BC. it just increased healing only. however it would be dumb for people going tree form back then because they can Dps/cc in caster form whilst they have to shift back if their in tree form.. so they all went the feral charge/resto spec

Blind and Kidney are both viable things to trinket here (Not Cheap Shot, obviously), since I'm the kill target and it's almost assured the Rogue will be using Blind on my Warrior partner instead.

Trinketing KS avoids a harder shatter/kill combo against me. :)

That would leave the problem for other healer classes which dont currently run on spirit. I play resto shaman in 5's and 3's and without being able to drink we would be oom straight out against any other class.

Depends a lot on positioning (and who gets the opening), preparation, and the ever-so-lovely RNG, imho. Can really go either way, but yes: Restokin/Warrior is not the more dominant team against this partocular comp. ;)

nice vid as always but if u take requests for match-ups ide like to see u play high rated hunter/druid teams ive looked through ur vids and seen no hunter/druid over 1600 and would like to see u take one as high as some of the others u have played as with a hunter i know u will be working a hell of a lot harder than with a warrior. i know this coz ive played with a few resto druids in 2v2 and they leave when it dont go our way and do the same as every other druid duz and go plays with a warrior.

Definitely. :) Both have their own strengths and weaknesses, strong combos, and counter-combos. It's just a very different play-style for each, but both can be a lot of fun. :)

Hehe, well it's not really an "ease" thing for me, it's just been a matter of the people available, their skill, and the classes they play. :) I've played Druid+Hunter up until around 1800-1900 (sorry I don't have any videos of it :( ), but it wasn't really my combo of choice. The games just didn't feel as "fun" for me, and not nearly as dynamic as I prefer so I haven't really pursued it further.

I'm not opposed to going at it again down the road if I found the right partner/personality, but

When I think of Hunter+Druid, a part of me goes "My god, I did like two and a half seasons worth of that pairing and their loonnnnnnggggg games..." and I just don't find I have the passion for that at the moment. I've enjoyed playing with a locks, warriors, and rogues a great deal more. Heck: I've enjoyed pairings with a Disc Priest, Shadow Priest, and Other Druids more. ;) It might just be I'm worn out on it though, so who knows what the future holds. :)

I do, however, 3s with a a few different hunters at the moment, so there is a good chance you will see videos with them as the season goes on (and they both keep bugging me for twos, but I don't see that happening from my end ;) ), so hopefully that will tide you over. :)

Far as working harder with a hunter, or Druid + Warrior being "easier"? I'd beg to differ. They both have their counter combos, strengths and weaknesses. I know Druids "stuck" in the 1500-1600s with both types of partners,

it's all just a matter of gear, skill, and play style preference. having experienced most of what twos has to offer for druids, myself (in terms of Feral,  Resto, and Restokin spec), and a huge variety of classes and partners, I can tell you it's not "easy vs hard," it's just, well, different. it all takes practice, and I certainly wish you the very best in finding a partner that is as passionate about druid + hunter as you are. :)

(I steered one of my hunter friends into working with a disc priest last week and he's really enjoying that combo. Hit 1800+ with a week of experience with a new partner, so I'm really excited for him).

Never heard of that one, but perhaps you are thinking of the other way around (38/0/23 or thereabouts), which is a Restokin spec that primarily works well with rogue partners? I was running something similar to that in this particular video.

Keep in mind too: if you Armory someone, they going be in a PvE spec rather than PvP. But as far as specs go: a lot of it is personal preference and play-style, so definitely be willing to try various specs out that people recommend. :)

Np! I hope you find it helpful. :) When I'm a "Traditional" PvP Resto spec, we play the games fairly similarly. As you well know: teams with a Mage can be incredibly troublesome for Warriors. ;_;

It has worked best for me with rogue partners, honestly, it's too situational otherwise for my liking (ie: with a warlock, hunter, or warrior), but it's definitely an interesting experience.

Oddly enough: due to my experience with it in twos, it's become my 3v3 spec of choice for many of my teams. :) I'd definitely recommend trying it out, if only for curiosity's sake.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video. :) Luckily: the rogue isn't usually able to CC very much with my warrior on top of him, but it's always a risky fight that is very dependent on us dominating via LoS and pre-planning (ie: me "entering" the battle when the mage has blink on CD, etc.). Definitely tricky, but nice when we pull off a clean kill. :)
