  • Lois Armstrong a kiss to build a dream on!!

  • Memorabile song. il brano e stato un grande successo di Fats. uno dei pionieri della musica rock, ottima anche la versione di Elvis due grandi anche se io sono di parte.

  • I remember one day that my grandma was over at my house and she was talking about Fats Domino and I clicked on this song and as soon as he started singing she was just patting her foot away

  • This is the music my grandparents fucked to

  • @obamasucks760 well that's a nice mind image

  • תנו לייק אם באתם לכאן בגלל אלכס חולה אהבה :)

  • The 40 people who disliked this probably copulate with animals.

  • These songs remind me of when i lived in Kingcome Inlet my home town. we use to only have radio. My mom would whistle a lot. My dad use to play in banquets. :) Fond memories

  • got this vinyl, best record i ever bought

  • This hit by Fats Domino hit #2 on the Top 40 charts, #1 on the Rhythm & Blues charts, and #6 in the United Kingdom. It would finish at #41 for the year, 1956.

  • This song always makes me think of Richie Cunningham on Happy Days. He'd always sing this when he came home from a good date. Great song, great memories!

  • @MsJourneyfan I always think that as well. Great song!

  • When my dad died, this tune was played in church. Could almost see him smile from above. And I still play it now and then. ..and knows he listen.

  • Fats a legend so nice to hear this song and bring m\back memories

  • Our best guess when Fats Domino performed in Vallejo, Ca. was early 60's.

  • My Mom and Aunt saw him perform in Vallejo, Ca., at which she lived in Napa, Ca. (I think),at the time. The most extrodinary performance of her, l guess, was quite an lifetime. His ability to slide across the piano, was a sight that seem impossible and unbelievable.

  • 40 people don't know what good music is.

  • doesnt matter who you are... what music you listen to..where your from... This is good music.

I listen to Heavy Metal and i find this to be good music

  • Am I the only one who sees Richie Cunningham in their head every time they hear this wonderful song?

  • One more to make 40 people that dont know what music is

  • I'm 104 and I love this kind of youtube comments

  • my homework says this was 1950's not 1940's

  • @serialkisser3568 the song was written in 1940 but the fats domino recording was released in 1956

  • This has been my long time favourite song by Fats Domino. Many people have sung this but none have achieved the beautiful melodic tones and overall perfection that this artist seems to achieve. The single was bought me by my second serious girlfriend she was a teacher in Germany. She realised it was my favourite. I still have it in my collection ...smiles. This song has been played by many and heard many times that we may have overlooked the importance of just how much of a masterpiece it is

  • I found a card on my toilet, and i wondered what Blueberry Hill was. :-D

  • I think hes talking about smurfettes tits

  • 38 People are a good case for Euthanasia.

  • I don't know about that. Speed seems ok to me.

  • its on fast. it should be about half a step lower. wouldnt know what that equates to speed wise on a record player

  • animal farm

  • beautiful song, He is a great singer

  • oh this is such a classic

  • It's not about the song as much as it is his voice. It almost sounds perfect for this type of music. There's a touch of nasal tone, but I think it adds to the overall effect rather than detracts from it.

I just think the way he says "blueberry hill" the first time is just great.

  • ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

  • IT STILL DOES IT!!

  • Smooth as silk.

  • MANE I LOVE THIS SONG

  • Blueberry Hill/Ain't that a Shame/I first heard this in 1958 - (in the Ellis's garage) a mere 10 year old "white Zulu" kid from the KwaZulu-Natal countryside who has never looked back ... enjoyed over 5 decades of great black artists of many genre's ...

  • Ritchie Cunningham's song! I think he sung a part of this song on just about every episode of Happy Days!

  • @DRock6906 did you see the 1 where some girls dad came to the house and said he had been a little perv. and he came in singing the 1st few bars lol

  • @DragonHellraiser Oh yeah! I forgot about that!! That was priceless!! :)

  • 37people didn't find a thrill on blueberry hill

  • Great song!!

  • bij de marine elke dag feest met fats

  • OOOOH yesss- This IS music. Lady Gaga and all the other pop shit can go to hell. 16 man i LOVE that u are with me on this i'm 47

  • i love this its part of my heritage as a creole man

  • some one sung this song on Stars in their Eyes (an old 90's British tv show) my brother was about 7 at the time, the person that song this song on that program. when he didn't win my brother started to cry cause he wanted him to win. The person actually sounded just like Fats. Tbh I wanted him to win too. Nevertheless the originals are always the best first time round by the artiest.

Yet again 36 people don't know great music when they hear or listen to it

  • 1. I am only 21 yrs old.

    2. My mother wasn't even born when this song came out.

    3. Good music is timeless!

  • granpap loved this song :(

  • same im 15

    and liked it

  • 15 year old, Idris Muhammad (born Leo Morris) played drums on this track. impressive!

  • I love this song. End of, age is irrelevant and I won't say anything about Lady Gaga, because I love her. Now listen.

  • Great, thanks we added this to our wall on facebook...

  • 1956!!! Those were the days!

  • All I can think of when hearing this now is the awkward cover Vladimir Putin did, lol...

  • une chanson de legende

  • Great music forever.

  • as a response to samisgay, I would say first off, do not knock lady gaga, she is wonderful. This song, however, the real fatman, is pure rock. The fatman played blues that the whites loved, and no one can say it was not good. He is a tremendous part of rock and roll history, and will always be remembered.

  • What has become of this world ?

    This is life......

    This is true inspiration.....

The rest of it is mockery and stupidness.......

    I am sad.........

Cheers for the great ones......Sam Cooke, Fats Domino et alibi.....

    Dr. Wilbur Walker,

attorney at law and notary public in santo domingo, dominican republic

  • it seems as if the real world went away all of a sudden !!!

    sam cooke,

    fats domino,

    brook benton,

    to name just a few.......

real songs, real music, a ticket to heaven.......

And now ? Oh my gosh........nonsense all around

  • My family and I used to always drive by Fats' house while visiting Naw'leens. Love this stuff.

  • i'm 3 months old and i love this kind of music

    thumbs up

  • @CLASHofTHElonders i am 97 yearsold and i like it too guess good music spans the thingy of wotsit. New underwear please nurse

  • @CLASHofTHElonders WOW. three months old and already useing the computer. IM impressed lol..

  • @CLASHofTHElonders ......how can you be 3 months old!?!? -.- Either your mother's writing this, or you made some sort of spelling mistake! :/

  • @SerenaTabby i am only three months old you douche bag now get knocked down like the berlin wall, or something.

  • @CLASHofTHElonders Yeah, okay, whatever. -_- Because any 3 month old would know what the berlin wall is.

  • @SerenaTabby well i am 4 months of age now, and i am currently studying the effects after WWII, that is how i have knowledge of the Berlin wall

  • @CLASHofTHElonders You know what? Forget it. -.- This is a very stupid, and ridiculous conversation that has an obvious answer.

  • i just found my blueberry hill listening to this song

  • richie cunningham<3

    inspiration point

    hehe

  • you see that? thats class! he found his thrill.. he didnt f this ho or smack that ho or anything. he use innuendo and subtlety.

  • i think Little Richard found his thrill on Dingleberry Hill

  • Comment removed

  • my pops grew up in the same neighborhood where fats lived. HONKYS GO DEEP!

  • The beauty behind this song is the simplicity of it all. just amazing.

  • Class is permanent.

  • I HATE THIS SONG because it ends.

  • sorry didnt mean to type it twice

  • clarence thomas found his thrill on Anita Hill

  • @ajweberman bull shit

  • @ajweberman I guess you think that is a witty remark. I think it is insensitive and cruel. Anita Hill was "raped" twice--first, by Thomas and then at the Senate confirmation hearings. Further, Ms. Hill took a lie detector test and PASSED. Thomas refused to take one. That spells GUILTY to me.

  • @mangledinal

I am making fun of Clarence not Anita. I think he was guilty. I never expected his sort of reaction. You have an attitude. Satire is a form of criticism.

  • @ajweberman Yours was not satire; it was an ugly form of sarcasm. I'm sure Thomas would find it humorous, but I doubt very much that Anita Hill would. I do have an attitude!

  • @mangledinal

Clarence Thomas is a bootlicking tommin fool. The only good thing he ever did was vote against cross burning as free expression

  • Classic

  • This is the only version I have ever heard of Blueberry Hill. Thank God I can still hear this man singing this song. Pray everyday you never go deaf!!!

  • @mangledinal this was my grandmas favorite song and she went deaf so i brought her something loud enough so she could hear it.

  • my grandma loved this song made sure to play it for her to remember fond memories but of course i love it as well

  • this is for my "TATA" Manuel N. Cuevas Rest In Paradise

  • Crisp and delicious - altid en fornøjelse :))

  • I always know what song it is when I hear those four words

    "I found my thrill.."

  • Love love love it!!!

  • is this Fats from Eastenders?

  • hey this guy is very cool.Luv that piano and saxs.

  • I was talking with a 22 year old not long ago about early rock and mentioned Fats Domino. He did not know the name but I assured him he knew his music. I "You tubed" Blueberry Hill, his eyes lit up and he said "Oh, is that Fats Domino"?

However many different artists have recorded this tune, I say without question this is the most recognizable.

  • This man has never sang or recorded a song I didn*t like.

  • UZIVANCIJA SVAKA CAST MAJSTORE

  • Man vs Piano

  • This song reminds me so much of my grandad& the times he used to sing it, I miss him more&more everyday, I cant wait to be with you again gra, love you xxxx

  • 30 bastards need to be shot

  • @pizza3330 that's uhhhh taking it to far.....they just like some other shit

  • @pizza3330 cant believe youre saying that people needs to be shot just because they dont like the same music as you....... youre a really sick person

  • @kallemick It's because regardless of taste, colour, politics, whatever, to come here and click dislike for a recognised classic means you are a fcking waste of space. He / she is not sick at all, you're just lame.

  • @worldcoup no hes comment are a waste of space everybody hates them anyway besides he says people needs to be shot just because they dont like the same music as him and that is REALLY sick not to mention that its him whos lame ask anyone on youtube they will agree

  • @kallemick Apologies, you seem very fair on this. I was too hasty to defend someone, without doing my research, when my sole intention was to defend the tune, from many of the extremist trolls, that defile these pages.

  • @pizza3330 Make that 35. Dont worry its just cops and klansmen on a break from child molesting.

  • @pizza3330 ( UPDATE) you now need 35 bullets

  • This is High Classic ! Forever. For Generations ahead.

  • Im 16 and have enough taste to say this is beyond better than lady gaga and all the other crap they play on the radio, it saddens me to know that most of my peers have no idea what real music is. Lets keep this alive.

  • My husband favorite song.

  • Well EXCUSE ME, I guess I need to mind my manners, though I am hardly AN OLD MAN. But thank you for clearing that up for me. I for one appreciate all kinds of music, Fats Domino being one of the artists that I loved as a young teenager. Who am I to judge the modern singers and really I have said nothing derogatory about any of them... Grandma stands corrected.
