@frogbmth where in hongkong exactly and the name of the hobby shop did you purchase your heliArtist blue wolf fuselage. . thanks.. an anwer would be appreciated . .
hey i got another question. is it better to have 3A or 6A. here my setup, Futabas S9452 on cyclic. JR 7703D gyro with servo combo. I have the stock align BEC battery. 1,800mah 7.4v. and my main battery is a 22.2v 5000mah 6S.
well i checked my pitch on the blades their both equal. all the shafts are straight also. my swash is leveled pretty good, i Centered the servos and all. there is really no reason for it to vibrate i dont think. I may have to try to blade balancing maybe? I have ciberglass aligh blades. I'm going to watch finless bob vids to see, if maybe I missed as step. thanks man, if any other advicce let me know thanks. maybe ill make a vid when i get my new BEC in a day or 2.
my gyro is good now, but the vibration basically happens after mid stick, the last time it happened 1 blade gave me negative pitch for some reason and burned out my BEC. so I got a new one now. and my heli is the 600e. I saw a video of a raptor with that problem. after spin up. Som1 said that the blade grips were loose. Though mine do not look loose. But yea, have any suggestions?
Did you watch the finless bob setup vids? Tracking needs to be spot on with a 600, sounds like you have different pitch on each blade. Get the swash level at all positions and then use a pitch guage to get the blade pitch spot on.
ok thanks man ill give that a shot :) I have a G7703D/S8900G Gyro/Servo Combo Pack its gonna be tuff to reverse it, specially since its inside a jet ranger body lol
hey i want to ask you a question. I just set up my trex 600 and basically whats happening is when i spin up the heli, the tail seems to rotate very fast! when i give it rudder and it seems to stay stuck at the current position so its like manually moving the pitch on the stick. it doesnt self center after i let go of the stick. which is weird. But when I rotate my heli while its on, I do the gyro working. any suggestions?
Those retracts look fantastic. Nothing worse than the really fast, fake-looking retracts. Just a question re the body.. where did you get that one from? Was it pre-painted or did you do it yourself? Looks awesome. I have a T-Rex 450SE V2... when you say it's 'heavy'..you mean that it handles more slowly... does it tame the Rex down a bit?
Hey thanks! I got the prepainted boddy from flying hobby, and they now do a version with retracts included. The heli just feels less jumpy and light, it takes longer to react and feels more sedate if that makes sense. Andy
Thats the best looking retracts I've ever seen on a 450. I have a 500 How can I get my retracts to work like yours. The ones I've seen moves too fast and looks toyish and not as realistic.

where can i buy this helicopter?

You can buy the mechanics, trex450seV2, in almost any RC hobby store. The fuse is from HeliArtist, I got mine from flying hobby in Hong Kong.

just tried it, gyro is all set :) now before half stick, i have a severe vibration
skl1cent 3 years ago
That could be many things. Something out of balance possibly. Nitro or Electric? Does it go away as you spool up higher?

It sounds like you need to reverse the gyro. Not in the radio, the switch on the gyro itself.

Hey thanks! I used the NFSD1 servo slowdown unit with variable speed control. This works with any normal servo but will not work on a retract servo.

Sweet ....... Heavy ??
RotorHead2652 4 years ago
Its a lot heavier than the standard hei, you can feel it in flight big style. I'm still playing with headspeed and pinion options to get a good feel.

that is an amazingly nice heli
