  • white balance looks out

  • How would it compare to Tokina 8-16mm F2.8 ?

  • what camera are you using?

  • yay!!! franklin street!! chapel hill!!!! great review man!! go heels!!

  • wowww, i'll buy it soon. btw,how can i take care this Lens if it can't be added the filter :(

  • does this fit the T2i?

  • Yes it fits the T2i. It should fit on all new canon's. Don't forget to take off the lens hood like I did though..

  • but down the hoodcap dude! :D

i have this lense aswell and i must say its awesome the vignietting is very very smal aswell as the distortion is.

and its sharpness point is on top.

    love it!

any cent worth! you can see pictures of it on my flickr.

i used it to nearly any shot .

    3xw flickr dot com /photos/mechanicalmonster

    its worth a look..i promise! :D

  • is this really how it looks at 8mm? what's with the barrel distortion?

  • There is no barrel distortion on this lens... I had the lens cap adapter on still. If the adapter is removed then there is no distortion. I am posting a better example up in a few days... That have better images... Check back in a few days..

  • eh buddy, whats with the vignette ?

  • I left the lens cap collar on.. New images coming soon without lens cap collar in the way.. Sorry for the confusion.

  • what;'s on the corners of your video? is that the hood????

  • Yes.. I left the Lens cap collar on.. New videos coming soon without the collar on..

  • Would you prefer more the Canon HF R10 or the Canon HF M300?

  • alright thanks man, really appreciate it. By the way keep up the videos I watch them all!

  • what are your thoughts on a Canon HF R10? I am begging low budget, just for fun film making with quality. I have been searching for camcorders between 400-600 for the last 2 weeks and have come across a number on camcorders. I would like to shoot in 1080p, with mic inputs, lens threads, long battery life and storage. If you have any other suggestions for anything under 600 it would be much appreciated man! thanks.

  • Are you trying to get a cinematic look or are you trying to get a documentary look?

If You are just doing shorts and docs.. The HF R10 is fine..

If you are trying to get more cinematic.. I would say buy a canon T2i and a few used lenses.. This would cost about 1,000

But if you only had 400-600.. The HF R10 should be good enough for most of your needs.. But buy the fastest memory card you can afford.. SO you can use the 1080P features... Cheap cards won't cut it..
