I think they made it look easy, I live in Worthing and kite with these guys, they can easily jump big enough it's just timing and knowing what the winds going to do once your over it, pretty turbulent!

Well done guys, at last the perfect conditions! I've kitesurfed locally in Worthing/Lancing for 8 years now and know that you've been waiting/training/planning for a long time before doing this. Gotta say the last time I kited past the pier I didn't ever imagine you would ever pull it off......makes all that practice worth it!! Would loved to have been there. Nice one. Stace

Agreed. They know what they are doing and explained it took 3 years till the conditions were right. The news reader says not to try it and they have 16 years experience, so if some morons wanna try and fail then it's up to them.

Fair enough. Lewis' brother Lloyd here. My argument is FORMULA ONE... NECESSARY? NO. Do MILLIONS enjoy it though?.. YES. You will never stop an idiot jumping from the pier and if they wanna shell out a few hundered quid to achieve a similar result then good luck to them! I could teach someone to play a sport i play like cricket and then see them die from a ball to the head! My fault? No. They would be well aware of the risks involved. hey Lloyd, I know what you are saying. As I say maybe I shouldnt have said twats/idiots etc etc but that was my initial reaction having seen the clips. I am still entitled to an opinion which I wont change, and they are entitled to show off risking their lives. I am pleased that everything went okay for them and yes they will get a lot of recognition for this stunt however the outcome could have been very different. its great jumping and living life on the edge but please NOT OVER THINGS!!!
