He makes great music, but nobody except for powerless morons think he's going to mobilize some sort of counterculture backlash movement like in the late sixties, that movement is gone and will never happen again. Artist need to stop trying to recreate it and focus on making good music. I really dont think Dick Cheney gives a fuck if Conor Oberst wants to knock him out. That being said, I am still a HUGE Conor Oberst and Bright Eyes fan.

This was one of the best shows I've ever been to. I've been a fan of Bright Eyes for soooo long it was like a dream come true when i got to be here for this. Watching him finish with this song (roosevelt room) changed my fucking life.
