I mean just look at the man! The man's a bombshell! And he's oozing with charisma. Dang! For his age, what a physique! And not to mention the voice - so powerful and long-ranged! And the tone of his voice! Marvelous! His smile and every move are meant to make every 13-year old girl, middle-aged woman and grandma go gaga. Just like what happens to the other front men and lead singers of other bands whose capital fault are their stunning looks and astonishing bodies.
The acting version is about the infidelity of the man in the video. Because he welcomed temptation, the girl he truly loved left him. The band version on the other hand (this version) is for those who want to see how Bon Jovi performs - their feel and interpretation of the song.
Besides the fact that the song is ONE OF THE BEST LOVE AND ROCK SONGS OF ALL TIME! (Have I not overemphasized that enough?), I watched this a million times because I think that Bon Jovi's so freakin' hot.

I always hear their songs playing on the radio or on the karaoke when people sing them because Bon Jovi's songs are popular and loved so much here in the Philippines. I love the arrangements in this song and the enthusiasm and energy of every Bon Jovi member. They helped with the musicality of the song. I think that this song is ONE OF THE BEST LOVE AND ROCK SONGS OF ALL TIME, and Bon Jovi is ONE OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL AND INFLUENTIAL ROCK BANDS OF ALL TIME.
I watched this video so many times on Friday night, July 25, 2008 and the whole day the day after. On Saturday, July 26, 2008 I've watched this like more than 10 or 15 times. I have seen Jon in an interview say that he is a "wino", meaning he loves his wine. I don't remember where or when I saw this interview, but I did hear him say it when someone asked him about his choice of drinks.

I'm one year older than Jon and have been there from the beginning of this band. Whatever "it" is, Jon has IT in spades - what a voice and what a showman. The band always (no pun intended) looks like they are having so much fun singing and playing and they deserve every accolade they ever get. There is IMHO no band that does live shows better and no band that ever will. Watch the Giants Stadium youtube video of "Just Older" and you will love the history between Jon and Richie. AMAZING!
The message of the song is much stronger in the original video, I don't get the message from the song in this video. But well yes, the quality of this video is alot better than the MTV version.

I agree. He's gorgeous! I love the face he makes when he says "Some that made us laugh some that made us cry". God I love him. I wish I could have been born a bit earlier so when he hit the peek of his career (probably around 1994?) so that I would be able to enjoy it even more. In my oppinon "Always" their his best song. I agree. He's gorgeous! I love the face he makes when he says "Some that made us laugh some that made us cry". God I love him. I wish I could have been born a bit earlier so when he hit the peek of his career (probably around 1994?) so that I would be able to enjoy it even more. In my oppinon "Always" their his best song. I cry everytime. Jon puts so much emotion into the song.
