I didn't notice anything other than you screwing up the first 5 times and then you finally get it right the last time. I have never had a problem with that part of the song when I played it. On neither the PS2 verson nor the X-box 360 verson.
Its a mistake,, if u bought the game early.

I get that same problem. And when I try and explain my repeated "mistake" to people as a 'broken HOPO" they don't believe me.
