Drivingsports is the only source that I've ever seen even to compare these two cars. As for Toyota they've only recently tried in terms of performance luxury with cars like the LFA, ISF, and the upcoming GS so they haven't failed "many times." With that said they've done far better in terms of technology as compared to luxury performance.

Having driven both the A7 and the TL, it's not even a comparison - the TL is not anywhere near 90% of an Audi sure the numbers may be similar but that's where everything ends! The A7 makes you feel special and runs way better than a luxury honda accord. It's like comparing a hot blonde to an ugly blonde - they both may be blonde but i would take the hot blonde anyday!

The Acura may not have the brand name but it's undeniably a great car. For the price it's hard to beat the amount of enjoyable performance it offers. You can't compare those 2, they are not in the same price range, not the same layout and the Audi had the optional 20'' wheels, the Acura had the base 18'', not his optional 19''.

Audi quattro is a real awd system, not for sliding around. It's all about grip and putting the power down and it does that perfectly. Acura sh-awd is too electronic and clearly screws up therefore letting it drift out, even though in theory the way sh-awd is designed it is not supposed to do that at all. Clearly that shows the acura awd system as an underdog to the renowned quattro! Plus who wants cheap feeling overpriced honda? I'd rather have a nice hopped up Volkswagen anyday.. Euro FTW!!!
