Logitech G19 Keyboard Review

Just bought this, wish all my keys worked >.> gotta get it replaced

And one of the biggest cons is that it requires a separate power source....

Everybody is overrating Logitech. They may make nice looking hardware, but it's all crap. Uncomfortable hardware, bugged software...

But, there's one interesting thing about G series: "5 keys at a time" - but that's actually a con too, since, every time my kb falls off the PC tower, it lands face down and some keys get pushed - Windows always ends up dead and a reset is needed. Secret keycombo for crashing Windows?

fuck thet skreen shit ! for less money you can get a razer black widow ultimate, and she is a mechanical keyboard !!! and mutch more better !!! logitech z-623, logitech g9x, samsung 24´´ led full hd, i bought for 360 e ... next month i buy or logitech g110 or black widow ...

Is this keyboard "better" than the G510 performance wise? I Actually like the G19 More since it has those extra USB ports, and The full color display, Plus I dont really need all those G keys since My laptop sucks so much, I cant even play half the games its compatible with.. In other words. they have to make it compatible with minecraft!!!!! So which one is "better"?

Alright I can't seem to find the info on this, i know it requires additional Power.

WITHOUT power for instance on the move with a labtop what settings are still enabled, and what are gone.

Do the multimedia keys still work, does the screen work, do the macros still work, essentially do i have anything besides the basic keyboard when on the move with no power supply?

i just bought one of these and the keys feel really stiff to type on unless i hit the keys exactly dead center. comparing to the feel of the £30 logitech internet keyboard I bought 9 years ago it feels crap. can you confirm the same. try pressing the keys in the corners and see if you feel them resist and sometimes stick. also mine arrived with 4 stuck red pixels on screen.

i like this board but i dont like it that they took away the 18 macro keys the G11 had and now the G19 doesnt have they should of kepted that more for macroing and stuff but yeah i like it

the biggest thing is the lcd color screen but its like 200 dollars too but o well

@IAMDAVEAMI I'm using it right now, the keys are'nt any louder than I would expect. Keep in mind you can still macro everything and asign it to the 12 function keys on the left, and that there are 3 presets for it, so if you have to you can switch between sets on the fly and have a total of 36 macro keys.

I like the color changing of the keys the most

i like the G19 but the G11 you can macro 18x3 thats like alot more i think this is a good board but i think they could of done 18 macors pre one macro then 12 but not a big problem you know but i like G11 still but i like the g19 of the lcd color display on temps you know and it looks like its gives you more but at 220 dollars i have to wait til it comes down llitte you know i got the g11 at 120 but its worth it if you can wait if not then your spending 220 dollars

you need macros keys on the side liek 18 like the G11 did and athe G15 haha but nly if you use them alot you know but it has like 3 settigns so i guess having fewer can be better but i dont care how wide it is haha you know but this G11 is liek losing light and is alittle loud now and stuff you know so i need to get this G19 :D

I do care is it wide,look is very important for me, so I too need to get G19 :p also after G510 can't imagine a keyb without a screen it is very useful for me so I can track my hardware performace at any time while playnn..

they made the g510 like a off of the G seriors and stuff you know for alittle cheaper for the people who cant get the Gs but i guess its not bad you know

but the G11-15-19 are the best ones you cant get you know plus the G19 is like 120 i think which isnt bad which is like 90 euros for you i think haha but yeah i like the Gs they do it good you know i never had the screen ones but i wanna know what i am pushing while gaming too but i am not dual screens

@IAMDAVEAMI G510 is great for 80 euros,and fucking G19 here in Serbia cost 140 euros and I have to go in Belgrade, in my town it's 160 euros :// And all I paynn is the colour screen and two USB ports..a normal people is laughing to me,but they are just mortals..they will never understand.To be honnest if you are a hardcore blind kid gamer buy a Black Widow, Logitech is kinda fancy,just perffect for me. Your G110 is very good old school keyb. but can't compare it with G510.. cant wait Tuesday :D

yes its a offset of the gs you know but i dont mind it you know but i like the feel of it mine g11 is all old and makings to much noises and the lights are fadding away and its like blining and stuff you know so i will get the g19 later when i have money haha but yes theres other outthere but there to expensive lodtech does it right you know

@IAMDAVEAMI Hey man just to let you know I bought G19 and returned it the same day,the keyb was flashing turning on and off like crazy, and the keys sucks they are better on G510 !! Never again should spend that amount of money on keyb. I bought a 24" Samsung LED monitor and it's a much better deal :D

i know i saw some good and bad things but i think the G510 is a better deal and like its alot lower price you know

this one is blinking too and this one is a G11 hahaha but the lights are all bad on it and it like dims down then it flickers and stuff haha but when i got it .. it was alit brighter now its low so i am ganna get the G510 sounds good and looks better with lcd screen and stuff

Thanks, also I should have mentioned it has a really sweet integration with Ventrillo so you can see who is in chat, leaving, talking, etc. Depending on how you config it.
