Oh, I see. FINALLY, at 2:17 seconds into the video, after its almost over, there are a few tilt sweeps. Nice video. Real good demonstration of the fixture's capability. So for the first 2:17, it's an LED moonflower. Wow.

@djmess303 i agree, lets go back to the future, when we had dance floors lit from underneath with the same kinda stuff, but put them on fixtures where you can actually see the beams, deffo not going back to changing bulbs and fuses etc, LED, is the way forward, unless;) there is some other kind of low energy light etc, that can rival? who knows? in the future.

I have to agree. Sure, LED use less power and last much longer than conventional lamps, but they cannot project gobos very well. I know Chauvet has a moving head light that uses a 20watt led, but the ouput is on the low side.

Gobos aren't going anywhere, they have been used in one form or another for hundreds of years. The ones in most intelligent light fixtures are pretty basic though...

It's not about the pattern on the wall/floor. Gobos are there to break up the light beam, and they are only seen when there is haze or fog used.

@HopScotchN64 halo lights are gonna be out soon mate, they might look brighter, but think of the cost in the long run, yes they will still make them for the people that need to replace the bulbs in their fixtures, but technology is moving on.

They are pretty coll but I still like gobo's in a moving fixture. Still very neat effect!

I agree with you, gobos are key!

Plus these things are too much like the Spectrum LEDs that I own already.

These moving heads rely on multi colored chase patterns too much, flash and trash. A moving light should be able to lock into solid colors to create moods.

If these things had the insides of those new Coemar LED wash lights, that might be better. Those feature LEDs that can colormix inside so each diode has red green and blue!
