Ok, I do agree that Craftsman Wrenches are good, I own quite a few. However, I WILL say that I also own quite a few Snap-On wrenches. The Snap-On, especially the Flank Drive Plus, will always be better than the Craftsman wrenches. For your average guy doing work in his garage or at home, Craftsman is just fine, but for professional use, Snap On is the way to go. You will distort your wrench and slip off on stubborn fasteners with Craftsman, but Snap On will move them, every time.
@Coffesdashit Adjustable wrenches damage nuts and bolts, are too bulky/sloppy/clumsy to use, loosen as they are used, and can injure the user when then they slip off. Also, the lower jaws can break off if tapped by a hammer.
No offence intended, but people who rely on adjustable wrenches are not too bright.
@willsco76 pfff don't make me laugh I've broken dozen of Craftsmen wrenches and not one of my Snap-On wrenches. Only people who can't afford Snap-On say there overrated. Take those 20 year craftsmen tools to my Diesel Shop Ill show you how shity they are.
@willsco76 I will never buy another craftsman wrench in my life, last year while tryig to take off a rusted bolt on our irrigation system my wrench broke on me and ended up breaking my knuckle. My partner brought out the snap on breaker bar and brook it off like nothing else.
@SandbagBoxer We have a few of these lying around. Not sure on specifics but they are probably about 3-4" and used to break lug nuts off of tractor tires.

In the UK, we would call these spanners, never heard them as combination wrenches before. Do you not call them spanners in the US?
hoarp001 4 months ago
@hoarp001 No. These are Box End wrenches that have two different sizes. One end can be 3/8 inch and the other can be 1/2 inch
