Noam not know that when money comes into existence only through debt attached the result is a monetary system that creates unlimited exponential debt growth that can be serviced only as long as the economy grows? Oil is life blood of global economy. When oil demand outstrips supply, growth must slow. Slow/no growth can not sustain a debt based monetary system. Oil production plateaued in or about 2005. With all due respect, Noam Chomsky is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge that never ceases to astound me. We can learn so much from him. :-)) It's really sad to hear what the US has become: the zillionaires' eldorado. US companies moving their business over to the East and bringing cheap eastern (Indian) workers to the US kicking their American counterparts out of work. How can the law allow that!! That's horrendous and tragic!!
