  • HEY YOU STOLE ERIC CLAPTONS GUITAR XD nice one man

  • amp?? Great sound!

  • sounds great man keep it up

  • want have paid yours guitar?

  • Comment removed

  • i thought the black one only came with rosewood neck?

  • I had this guitar but then saved up for a gibson les paul studio faded. Slight difference...I leave it at that

  • @lliwehtedud I found this guitar at a very good price and I wanted to buy it.. I havent bought it yet but I wanted to know; Were you satisfied with this guitar?? I'm playing classic guitar but I have never bought an electric one.. Do you recomment it to me or you think this guitar isnt good and practic for beginners?? thanks.

  • @MarsLos10 well, i mean i played it for at least 3-4 years when i was starting out and it was great for me up to that point, with pretty good tone for a cheap guitar(i got mine for 60 bucks!). Then when i got a lot better my dad went and bought me a gibson les paul without asking lol and i payed him back with my life savings! But if you've played only for a year or so, it's a good guitar. I was definitely satisfied and i too play classical guitar. Hope this helps!

  • @lliwehtedud hmm..you helped me a lot, thank you very much!! =)

  • @lliwehtedud ''slight'' price difference aswell !

  • this guitar is so cheap and sounds like heaven, thats a good guitar.

  • check the version the "badge" with my affinity ...youtube.com/watch?v=jxH2GW2PExU thanks!

  • hmmmm, still not sure what to get cos i dont need anything real expencive but i dont want nothing but buzzes coming from it

i have listened to the squier affinity strat and tele and i just cant decide :-\ ????????????? i want to play pink floyd (yes, i am to yound to like pink floyd at just 13) and other rock songs whilst still being able 2 play simple little riffs like mission impossible

btw if u dont know the tabs here is the bass line

    {(6)2 2 (5)o 2 (6)2 2 o 1 2} (6)2 :-P

  • @BrickBrothers99 Hey dude for pink floyd any style strat is gonna work just as long as it sounds decent. The squire affinity is as close as you can get to a pink floyd sound without buying a straight out fender strat. So squire affinity would be a great choice for it.

  • @BrickBrothers99 I own both and they are....wait says posted three months ago. Nevermind. What was your decision?

  • ????????????????? do you guys ever read your posts?i really dont think any of ya even know how! air guitarists

  • Man i'm planning to get me one for mod purposes would think this would be enought or would you reccomend me to get me a higher end squier, i will swap everything and only keep the body and the neck

  • I want to purchase a squier 1995 strat korean made for 50$ I was wondering if that's a good deal. Any ideas?

  • yay, steely dan :).. can't remember what song though...

  • ¿Por qué no usaste el trémolo en este "Test"?

  • this guitar is decent.it stays in tune and sounds good for what it is.i just bought one off my friend for 70 bucks.

  • it's 99% sure that i will buy an Affinity Strat 2CS in august :)) i heard it's a good guitar :)

  • does the fret board get scruffy because its a light colour?

  • so i have a 20th anniversary one(2002) and i think it plays pretty good compared to my good guitars considering its a lower end model..does yours feel the same?

  • Pretty good tone

does this guitar stay in tune?

  • @TomiMrBone

thank you, you have to set it up right , if you do so it stays in tune pretty well even when you use the whammy bar...

  • @blume137 and how can I set it up right? XD

  • @TomiMrBone i just bought my first guitar squier stratocaster and im very nervous too

  • @guitarman7881 you mean that you werent satisfied with it??

  • is it a floating tremolo??

  • @hothengchun

not in this video, but you could set it up floating...

  • Hey blume! Does it have standart dimensions of a 'strat'... or feel like a toy???

  • @deathmagnetica

it has standard dimensions, but it has the thinner body that the 50s models always have...

  • Comment removed

  • @thewhoissuperb24 the whammy bar is alright on Squiers. you can adjust it to be floating, but you can't do anything insane on them. you can get some good vibratos, though. that's about it. if you want insane whammy bar tricks, buy a guitar with a Floyd Rose tremolo.

as far as the SSS (3-single coil) strats eliminating the hum, they really don't. the only way you get rid of the hum is using the 2 and 4 positions in your toggle switch. but the other positions do hum, with a lot of gain.

  • @TheMetalHeaD256 im getting a squier affinity for my birthday. they are good guitars i heard. im gonna not put a whammy bar on it unless i wanna do some cool dive bombs. im playing a ashton ag131 till my birthday it has a whammy bar. i do dives with it all the time

  • Nice! I have a question though, I was wondering whether i should get the Squier Strat Affinity series, or the Squier Strat California Series? both look the same, but which one plays/sounds better? looking for something that sounds good in blue, jazz, rock n roll, and some hard rock. any help be greatly appreciated :)

  • @EriksAnarchy512 definitely the strat california series! it is a few levels above the affinity series.

It is stll a squier, a but it has got a better tone, better pickups, you will see it sounds/feels more decent than the affinity, which lacks A LOT of tone and it feels even more plastic-ish than the California. But still I would go a step above and get the Classic Vibe, that is real bang for your buck! Hot pickups and way more bite than california or affinity.

  • @luizzcosta Alright :) thanks so much for your help man! I've actually decided to get the Fender Mexican Standard Strat since I was able to save up some more money :D

  • next guitar over this ? maybe a ESP LTD or a epiphone ? :O

  • which would be better for a fist electric guitar, an affinity or a standard strat? also which would be better, for jazz/reggae/ska/blues, fat or regular strat?

  • enjoyed the solos from 0:38-1:00.

    are they real songs?

  • ahh josie and don't take me alive. sweet. becker is one of the greats

  • that riff is from a "robben ford" song named "chevrolet"

check him out, great guitarist, incredible tone

  • riff at 1:36 kicks ass ;) thats what I love in playing the guitar :]

  • riff at 1:36 kicks ass ;)

  • Tht is not the affinity the affinity has a humbucker pickup at the bridge

  • @foxtrot6777

I just bought a Squire affinity strat and there's no humbucker pickup.

  • @foxtrot6777 huh? the affinity is the series, not the kind of strat the guitar is.

  • @foxtrot6777

    that's just wrong....

the affinity series is available as a standard and as a "fat" version ....

  • @blume137 would u recommend this or the HSS fat strat?

  • @foxtrot6777 it is available both ways.

  • Is this body shape a bit different from the bullet series? cuz i think the bullet strat looks more like a fender strat. Or am i seeing wrong?

  • @MrBucketheadFan

The only difference is the body width. Either the Affinity is skinnier or the Bullet. Besides that, the electronics and hardware on the Affinity are slightly better.

  • @MrBucketheadFan the bullets are made from plywood, the affinity is made of solid alder. the affinity's are much better quallity. if you want even better grab a vintage modified squier strat.

  • @PsychoSymantic meh... i got a fender strat ;)

  • @PsychoSymantic no squier are no longer made from plywood neither are they 1 piece alder. my indonesian affiniy is a 3 or 2 piece alder like all the other affinitys ive seen.

  • wheres your wammy bar?

  • @0bloodystone

He probably left it out. Most players leave it out cause it causes the guitar to go out of tune quickly. I have mine on but don't use it.

  • @thewhoissuperb24 it is adjustable, I only said I have it set up as non floating system because i don't use the whammy unit and prefer this set up

  • Very boring sound. That's why I go big when it comes to strats and teles. I don't go below a standard.

  • I got this as my second guitar. I got the black body with the maple fretboard like him but I put a black pickgaurd on it.

  • what sound is this??? can't you change it a litle? to rock!!!!

  • awsome bro!! thats some good playing !! :D

  • my affinity strat is different, it has an arm on the tremolo and an old school style headstock. Is this a newer model or something?

  • Sweetness!

  • was that steely Dan ?

  • @fullmetaljackarse yes, some "josie" chords at the very beginning and in the end a don't take me alive solo version as far as i could remember by ear...

they are one of my favorite bands

  • is this 1-ply pickguard ?

  • what is the differences between affinity strat and affinity fat strat ???

  • @luki01111 fat only means it has a humbucker in the bridge position....

  • ok thanks for replay .=]

  • i dnt know wether to get this or the affinity telecaster, i just want a guitar with maple neck for playing like pop rock and stuff, like kids in glass houses.

  • can u play like blink with this

  • mi auntie mite get me a fender standard stratocaster....but if i cant get it...should i get this 1 instead?

  • great playing! i have one of this, they're great!

  • Hey dude, i'm planning to buy this guitar as my first electrical guitar, do you recommend it?

  • i highly recommend it plays great

  • Okay, thanks!

  • i do, it is my first guitar actually!

  • I'm planning on buying this exact guitar. the only thing is it is gonna be blue. anyone know the amp i should buy?

  • if u got money to burn get a marshall, and if u even got more get a mesa.

    otherwise i think a line 6 wuld b good

  • If ur lookin for something small and cheap but great sounding, i recommend a fender frontman 15. the sound is awesome.

  • one of the greatest small and relatively cheap amp is the roland micro cube

  • Nice steely dan tune, man! I'm planning to buy the HSS model

  • Hi, can you say me how works the tremolo bar ?

    Thanks

  • hmm this or the epiphone les paul special II im stuck...

  • Like I always said...Nice Guitars for a nice Price.

I have mine since 1993 and it works still great.

  • what amp you use in this play with you squier affinity?? thanks...

  • How does this guitar cost package wise? around 200?

  • great tone....great guitar!

  • There are affinity strats with maple fretboards?

  • as you can see ... there are....

  • Good question!! Mine has a rosewood! Thumb up

  • Have you used the trem yet?

  • i actually don't really use it

it also is set up so that you can't pull up , only down....

  • @blume137 actually u can set up the bridge as a "floating" bridge so you can do both

  • wat amp r u using?

  • a 63 "dynacord" "jazz" amp

18watt out of 2 el84 and an 8 inch speaker

    nice little combo.............

  • Steely Dan, tasty

  • yeah, one of my favortie bands

this guitar is named "josie" by the way...

  • This reminds me of this one guy that played a Squier strat wearing a red shirt.

  • i changed the tuners because the were not too good ....i also changed the whole electronic(potis ,pickups ,5 way switch etc) wich really is an upgrade but not essential. the stock pickups are quite good actually. overall i would recommend this guitar apart from the tuners.......

  • nice mate love them maple necks im a hank marvin fan haha cheesy i know ive just wont a squier affinity from ebay blue but its rosewood i may change the neck later to maple

  • Cool video how much did you buy this guitar ?

    I would like some imformations?

  • it was 158 euros here in germany

but i did some changes on this one
