there are so many good musicians and bands out there. It's all about who ya know and marketing.

Most any guitatrist these days can play Eruption. The finger tapping thing isnt that complicated. Eddy was just the guy that pretty much innovated the idea and perfected it.

With that said, Frank Hannon is a kickass guitar player in his own right. I'd put him up there with all the legends including Eddy Van Halen. One of the most under rated guitarists in rock.
