In the movie there will be Hell! There will be scorched wastelands with mutation of flesh and metal with Demons, blood, bile, toxic waste, and bodies EVERYWHERE. and it will be done in 3 episodes; Knee Deep in the dead, the shores of Hell and Inferno.

I think 3 episodes suit it best I would pay homage to that title to the forth one by having it said or written in the end of the third episode where it opens up to Doom 2 :p

One of my favorite tracks from DOOM. Really catch the atmosphere of the game. And I totaly agree with you guys; the movie was bad, really bad. I dont blame them though, they had the courage to try to put one of the best game ever into a movie. The task was simply to great for humble mortals.
This one was also the track for TNT Level 32: "Caribbean." More like "Vacation from Hell" if there ever was one, except that that was the whole point. Gods, I hated trying to sync the double door so that I could get out once I beat the cyberdemon!

Gothic Sandy. My favorite song in all of Doom 1 and 2. I had a Sound Blaster Pro 2 which had a great midi set at the time and this song sounded so awesome. My buddy had no sound card so he heard PC Speaker beeps for sound and had no audio. Even though my little computer had to run it in "low res" mode in a small window. God bless my 5MB of RAM.

The doo movie was the first movie that had a fps scene in it though as far as i know. Wich i think was extremly awesome, but it was just such a shame that they based the movie on some medic accident, and had NOTHING to do with demons and hell :/
the Doom movies are just like the Resident Evil movies-
they're pretty good if you don't compare them to the games or try to relate them in any way possible and just watch them as completely separate entities.
But in bringing the game to life in the form of a movie, they failed miserably.

the Doom movies are just like the Resident Evil movies-
they're pretty good if you don't compare them to the games or try to relate them in any way possible and just watch them as completely separate entities.
But in bringing the game to life in the form of a movie, they failed miserably.

Movies based on games suck, and games based on movies suck. There are some exceptions, such as Goldeneye 007 for N64, but the vast majority of the time it is true.

Nowhere did I say that the movie was based off the N64 game. I cited the N64 game as an example of a good game that was an exception to the generalization I stated.

Then again, a poor man's Resident Evil in outer space, whose producers can't even copy-paste a better soundtrack, let alone the game's basic plot, is an offence to the title DooM.

When I was about 3 or 4, I played Doom 2 like crazy, but with time, I stopped. Later, I discovered metal band Pantera and recognized Floods as a doom soundtrack... But I don't know in what level the cover was being played on. Does someone know?

The covers are popular because the songs in Doom themselves are actually covers of popular metal bands of the time. The covers you hear are probably of the same songs Doom covered, rather than the Doom songs.

This map isn't any thing try other game wads to ok. the hardest one is Coopbuildem. belive me it is tricky to master you may need iddqd and idfa to help even noclip
