Blocking (Can't be blocked ~)

Targeted (Can't be targeted ~)

Day of Judgement would kill something with Protection from White, but Slagstorm does no damage to a creature with protection from red.

Did they change protection rules, cause slagstorm would kill an etched champion right?

@SharpCornersForKids The way it was explained to me is, Protection stops two things. 1.) The creature can not be targeted by a source said colour. 2.) The creature can not be dealt damage by a source of said colour. So even though slag storm is a global spell and doesn't target, it is red and deals damage, thus giving protected creatures immunity.

@SharpCornersForKids it's because of the way the card is worded. since it reads "SLAGSTORM deals 3 damage..." it's a red card dealing damage and the champ can't be dealt damage by red. cards like day of judgment don't specify what destroys all creatures, it just says to destroy all creatures
