I have a 03 gli v6. I put a full magnaflo exhaust on mine and it sounds a little to much like a ricer. It sounds good but would like it to sound a little better. Do you know anyway to get a little better sound out of it without spendin to much?

Sounds mean, dude! I got a 04 Jetta GLI with a full 2.5" Apexi racing exhaust... For all the othe commentators - VW uses a dispersion valve, not a blowoff valve. They disperse the pressurized air from the turbo both into the atm,osphere, and back through the intake.

that is definitely NOT a VR, thats a 1.8T...firstly, listen to the turbo, secondly, unless he changed the rear valence, the VR GLI had a dual tip valence, not a single 3 inch circular one. chances are, its a 2004.5 GLI

That sound means that he has an aftermarket diverter valve and a cold air intake. Thats not a blow off valve. Its just the excess boost being pushed into the intake again.
