Will this void the warranty on a zune or is some official Microsoft stuff? Im getting a zune 8gb or 16gb, will all those games on zuneboards work on those models or just the bigger zunes?

im 99percent sure this stuff will work on those zunes too. as long as they are upgraded to the latest firmware. thatll happen when you install and run the zune software.

i think it means that is doesn't work with 32-Bit Vista, and that's probably what u have.

nope. these are free games developed by hobbyists.

both programs are free and can be found at the microsoft website. go there or just do a quick google search.

as far as having to use 2 programs for this, i know it sucks, but for now, thats just how it is. maybe someday soon, we will be able to do all this from the zune software. for now, these 2 programs are what you need. its really easy and quick though once you install the program. and once you do a few, itll be cake.

I did all the needed downloading, and I get to the point where I need to select my Zune using the XNA program, but it says that I don't have the needed software, even though I updated the Zune program a few days ago.

sorry to hear that. is your zune software running when youre trying to do the xna stuff? the zune software needs to be closed. just have your zune plugged into your pc, but close the software.

also.. ive heard that sometimes, you need to install visual c# first. then, when thats completely installed, you install xna last. not sure why, but sometimes that makes a difference.

Yeah. I do it all in order. C# Express, XNA, Closed Zune program, and XNA says that I it can't detect the correct so? Are you running 64 or 32-Bit Vista?

im using 32bit vista. dont know if it makes a difference. so to get this straight... you never even made it as far as visual c#..correct? you only got to the part where u use xna to choose your zune? right? and at that part, it doesnt show your zune? or does it show it and you cant select it?

and the zune is plugged in during this, right?

C# is installed, XNA is installed, Zune is plugged in, Zune program is closed, XNA says I don't have the Zuna Program installed. I went to my Home PC and it works fine with my XP Operation System.

You might try Microsoft Silverlight just a suggestion don't know if that will work.

3rd generation? not sure what you mean. ive had this regular zune 30 for awhile now. its got the newest 3.0 firmware in it. did you upgrade your zune's firmware?
