I have a centrifical supercharger which is much more progressive in terms of boost and better for higher rpm power. My high torque comes from a 6l engine, I also have 2x his power thats help a lot

@SinisterC6 yeaaah a porsche without turbos is no match for a vette, especially a zo6, especially a modded one. 45,000euro huh? i know that for approxamately 45,000 DOLLARS you can have an e46 m3 HPF(horsepowerfreaks) turbo equipped, capable of 700whp. you wont have stupidly high levels of torque like a turbo LSx, but you get that german build quality and a real showstopper...

@TheDjjazzy69 Yeah. The European cars are somewhat a little cheaper in their home countries. For instance, a 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera can cost $130k in Italy, but $150k in the US. This is mainly because of import taxes. Bottom line is: any European in Europe will say their cars are the bang for the buck and any American in America will say their cars are bang for the buck.

nahh, its not that the cars are just getting thrown around in europe, often the cars like mercedes ML, BMW X6/X5/X3, mercedes GL etc. are built in US so they are not cheaper in europe than in US. And that the german cabs or taxis are mercedes is a historical thing, they are mercedes since ever, and they are mostly e-classes with the smallest motor and bad equipment..

I guess you haven't heard of a ZR-1 and/or Nissan GTR? Both cars cost significantly less and performance is just as good or better than your list of impressive German cars. If you want to be technical with stats nothing is quicker than ZR-1.

However there is actually a modded GTR that is quicker. There are plenty of videos on youtube showing a head to head comparison.Take the Veyron out the equation though and if we are talking bone stock the GTR and ZR-1 can hang if not beat your impressive German list.

@SinisterC6 Currently i drive Peugeot 205 1.9GTI 800kg, 130hp, it's really a pocket rocket. The car on video is also 205 GTI, but has t16 engine, 1995ccm, garret turbine, (look lighter), i think it has around 300hp. Stock t16 in Peugeot has 220hp.

It's easy to modify these cars, that is why i like them.

With mine GTI i start better than many new cars, (I'm talking about 0-90mph, or 0-150kmh).
