@Facu4815 well, i just do it because i love some tricks like parkours, freeruning,taekwondo,wushu and sort of things, it make you have something to accomplish in life beside only work or studying ^^
I just did my first Kip-Up on the ground after 2 weeks of consistent practice. BTW if you can only do it on the bed, and not the ground. It's because when u do it on the ground ur not throwing ur legs, ur bridging and so forth u don't make it
When I started I was afraid to even kick, and only landed on my back when i kicked, and here I am now & can do rubberbands quite easily and also have a tutorial on kip up.
So, instead of just nagging about it try it on a bed or place where even you fail it doesn't hurt. There you can focus on the technique and once you start to land, you start to improve until it's second nature.
That being said applies to any technique out there.

@matt9736 lol, yeah obviously you don't do that in a fight. but as an excercise, it's a pretty athletic and powerfull movement to incorporate into circuit training. Try kick-ups to burpees, back n forth. Killer on your heart rate
@MiKocwalk i hope ur being sarcastic... because i used this tutorial and it didnt take me more than a week. well for a regular kip up. rubber bands took me a little longer (but that might have been cuz i got lazy in the middle.. =P)
My biggest tip is to PUSH UP in the air with your hands ( I SAID UP!) and swing your legs AS HARD AS YOU CAN! and yes if you do this an aerial, and a flashkick you will be ninja and you enimies will think your a ninja and get scared! Have Fun!!! :DD

@Radcliffe35 Oh, you got to land the lower portions of your legs (below the knee) so that your thigh, your calf and your foot makes a Z shape. :) It always happened to me, until I tried that! :D Hope I helped !

Yes!!! I did my first successful (although entirely ungraceful) kick-up yesterday! Gotta keep practicing so it looks better and comes easier, then I'll move on to the no-handed version.
