its nice to see videos showing am staffs, pitbulls and such dogs interacting playfully with other dogs as for some people associate these breeds with fighting and think they are nasty but the fact of the matter is! you only get out what you put in! poodles, yorkshire terriers, shitzus and such toy dogs can be nasty if that is how you bring them up.
people get confused because they are such a growly breed they sound mean even when they play but these dogs are clearly just playing around.. nice lookin dogs by the way!
They were playing. If they weren't playing and it was serious, you would know. Both of the breeds see red when they get angry. The owners of the dogs have raised them well and I'm pretty sure that they would notice the signs if the dogs didn't like each other (ears pulled back, raised hairs on the back and straight tail, maybe even growling before contact) and they would never have gotten this close to each other.

The girl runs around, and bites his feet, and he gets fiesty and runs away then sneaks up on her. Cutest thing!(: They're only two years apart too, and the Boxer is five, but he plays like he's two.

Goodness people are stupid. They are playing, obvious to any idiot that they are not fighting. Listen how calm the owners are, they don't yelp or snarl, and they are bouncing around each other. NO DOG bounces when it is a fight, because you will get bitten while you are in the air.

@winterthekid Saffordshire is in ENGLAND, thus, making the Staffy English, and the Boxer comes from the English Bull-Dog and a German dog (Forgot the name), there's fuck all American about the dogs!
@winterthekid If you watch the body language, they are not playing at the start. The black dog is playing, but the brown/red one is establishing dominance. You can tell by the pups ears which are up/back. That's how a dog indicates it's alpha to other dogs. Once it had the other down and it's tail came up, it became more friendly. That is NOT how dogs should be introduced. You're very lucky that neither of them were hurt.
@javajim777 I know something about dogs, even though at this time I was a beginner and what you say may be true... but the black is a male which goes to the female to play, and there's no way he'll start a fight with a female!... then he lets the female be the alpha like all male do with female: that's the truth!... The reds one (boxer) is trying to establish dominace, yes. but you are reading too much into it. if you look very closely you can see its "tail" is very slowly wagging. A properly raised boxer will never initiate a fight but back down, if it then is threatened when defensive, all hell can break loose :S Cropping ears and cutting tails should be banned every where because they are so important to see how the dog reacts.
yea you're right, the brown boxer is def more aggressive. luckily he doesn't act on anything, but a human should have stepped in at some point and put the bozer on the ground, made him submissive to the pit. from there it would have been just play. You can tell too when the pit starts digging in the yard, it's like 'hey, you're being a jerk, i'd rather just dig the ground then pay attention to you." people don't know how to read dogs body language tho.

amstaffs are amazingly loyal, caring, and strong dogs.
They are bred to destruction that's the problem. The way your amstaff ends up to be depends on how you raise it. raise an amstaff with positive reinforcement instead of negative =).

@birdman285 No way birdman... boxers are no comparison to AmStaffs in strength. They look muscular, but feel entirely different. AmStaffs entire bodies are hard and tough while boxers are streamlined. I have a 70lb AmStaff, he wrestles with two neighbor's boxers and hurts them every time he gets excited. There's no comparison...that's why one's a sporting dog, and the other sits on the couch all day lol.
Notice the aggressive one!. I have a staff x an we have a lot of trouble with Boxers an black Lab's, in the end Tyler lets go an show who's boss. Tyler don't follow this "spate" up an mostly they end up mates, except boxers an Lab's (black) what is it about black lab's? Anybody find the same, replys welcome.
You obviously know nothing of dogs and how they play. If they were going to draw blood they would have.
That boxer wouldn't have been the one doing the damage as it was way undersized. I've owned both and my Amstaff was a tri-athlete in comparison to any boxer. My boxer couldn't climb trees or swim like my Amstaff and was nowhere as quick.
Back on topic - they are in pure play mode as dogs play physically.
it was a joke... 'cos amstaff it's a breed mix made in the US of english staffordshire terrier and english bulldog, back in the 19th century... but as I've seen in many web sites ad books, the bulldog at that time was different from the actual english bulldog...
yes the english bulldog you know today is a mix of old english bulldog (the old bulldog from the 19th century) and the pug! :( but anyway your staff is awesome :)

I see amstaffs daily, and yeah there are some rotten eggs but the vast majority are friendly.
amstaffs are amazingly loyal, caring, and strong dogs.
They are bred to destruction that's the problem. The way your amstaff ends up to be depends on how you raise it. raise an amstaff with positive reinforcement instead of negative =).

i have a male boxer and my boyfriends brother has a miniature staffie, also male and the absolutely love each other! they play all the time, although i must admit sometimes it scares me as it sounds a bit vicious but we have been assured that they are just playing rough! i love the way they get on, the also love to give each other lots of kisses!

@birdman285 Yes boxers are very muscular and agile dogs, either way they are both related to the old english bulldog therefore have high strength and stamina.

@birdman285 No way birdman... boxers are no comparison to AmStaffs in strength. They look muscular, but feel entirely different. AmStaffs entire bodies are hard and tough while boxers are streamlined. I have a 70lb AmStaff, he wrestles with two neighbor's boxers and hurts them every time he gets excited. There's no comparison...that's why one's a sporting dog, and the other sits on the couch all day lol.

You obviously know nothing of dogs and how they play. If they were going to draw blood they would have.
That boxer wouldn't have been the one doing the damage as it was way undersized. I've owned both and my Amstaff was a tri-athlete in comparison to any boxer. My boxer couldn't climb trees or swim like my Amstaff and was nowhere as quick.
Back on topic - they are in pure play mode as dogs play physically.

it was a joke... 'cos amstaff it's a breed mix made in the US of english staffordshire terrier and english bulldog, back in the 19th century... but as I've seen in many web sites ad books, the bulldog at that time was different from the actual english bulldog...
