Lazarov is a good player, but he lacks the defensive strength that for example Mikkel has gained now. Also Mikkel is younger and will evolve with age. While this european championship Lazarov was the best, in the world cup 2011, Mikkel was definitely the best. And why do people say when Denmark wins 'it was luck'? Silver in 2011, gold in 2012, I dont think you can get so far on just luck. Fact is Macedonia lost to Denmark despite having 14000 screaming fans in their favour.

@handcallas Sorry too say man but if you don't call Mikkel Hansen technical you don't know nothing about handball... Mikkel Hansen is the best attack player, and the topscorer at VM in Sweden because he got at special shot that the keepers can't read.... And he also shots very hard, that compinasion makes it very difficult for the keeper. Mikkel Hansens wrist is magic! He got maybe the best wrist in the world to handball :)

@mppdk mikkel hansen is NOT technical, i know a LOT about handball and the only thing mikkel hansen had was his quick shot, now he is way slower then in january.

Look at him play for AG københavn now. he doesn't score nearly as well as he did at VM..

@in10forever you're right, Hansen is not a technical left back, he's a good shooter for sure, but not technical as Narcisse or Jicha are. That's why Hansen is in my eyes absolutely not the best left back in the world, because the thing that makes a perfect player is powerful shots AND a great technic.

@in10forever sorry, i dont really follow the danish league, but true, his playstyle is very simple and it's easy to defend him, when the defense once knows, how he plays. He's not a player of variation.

@djkr3ll3 Thats because he was the only person on the danish team that took the shots. He had a horrible scoring percentage. He would like maybe score 8 goals a game but miss 22shots

i remember from denmark vs france that mikkel would take like 2-4 shots and the french defense would block it, but denmark would get the ball again. and then the last shot he would shoot and score very luckily.

An example; in the 2011 VM final VS France (which I'm sure you saw), did you notice what happened every single time Denmark captured the ball? Luc Abalo went straight to Mikkel to prevent him from throwing those laser precise assists during the fast-break phase. He is a sublime team player, as well as an amazing shooter.

Now go back to your cave troll.

@mppdk To be honest, he shooting is more about power and force than about technical performance, ofc he also has quite some extra power because of good execution. But compared to a really techincal shooter like abalo he is a more force oriented plaer.

@jizy73 But that is over and over again the same technique, he has mastered a certain shooting technique but that is nothing compared to the arsenal of shots a wing player got. Wing players really only have to score goals, their only important job is to make the throws they get, in order to do so they have to be the best at throwing and because of that they are technique-wise a lot better at shooting than any backcourt player, that doesnt mean that the other players are worse.
