PEOPLE he was NOT a racist. A scene from a show on NBC was cut NOT because the guy was black but because the scene would have caused serious racial tentions among veiwers & Jimmy did NOT want agruments to break out over the scene. This was the 60's & 70's, there was still racial tension, tv had to be careful in what they prodcast so racial agruments did not break out.
