Elvis became the king sadly because of racist america, although let me tell you, Elvis was a great singer in his own right, he was not a manufactured "American-Idol" clown either. But yes, negro singers and songwriters deserved a lot more.

We got the Beatles Rockband and I was telling the story to my kids about how Little RIchard was on the Grammys, cracking up about how he was the one that taught the Beatles how to go "WHOOO"!! How wonderful to find the video of it so they could see for themselves....

it was like watching a funeral and the body in the casket rising because they forgot to embalm it. so when yall see kanye west,and alot of others getting mad cuz they weren't nominated,think of little richard,the rolling stones etc, they're still doing their thing and got all the respect in the world..just watch some clips on u tube of the grammy's
i only want to see the gospel section of the grammy's anyways, i don't listen to the other types of music, i don't even care if they performed or not i just want to see how it looked
